“Bed and breakfast”

This nice three-room-place is in building which is under renovation. Although in weekend there was no noice, only dust. Rooms were nice, bathroom was clean. The price was worth the value. Breakfast was very small (cappuccino and cornetto), but the cappuccino was excellent.

Unfortunately B&B is not the thing because breakfast is available at the cafe downstairs, and it consists on a cup of coffee and a croissant, owner is very sneaky and asked to pay much more for the sandwich than it really costs. Check whether the building is still under reconstruction: otherwise windows will be closed and you will be living in the dark which I didn't mind. Overall, the place is good, just renovated rooms, very clean!

“Perfect quality but Italian chaos”

We booked 2 (of the 3) rooms for four nights via a well known booking site. Getting to Fiumicino late in the evening, we wondered how to get to the city, and the "reception" would not be available in the evening. So I called, but at the first call I had to collect all my courage and all my Italian vocabulary to communicate, because "Parla inglese?" => "No" So we ordered the recommended taxi for 40€. After landing we were picked up immediately and the taxi driver helped us with the rest. He only had received one of the two keys, so he was phoning all the time we spent on the motorway to get hold of the second key. We finally picked it up close to the B&B. But it was not the second key but the general one, to gain access to the "privato" room in the very nice building (newly renovated) in the very nice 4 room apartment. But there was no key for room 2. So we kept the general one over night, paid the taxi driver a good tip and went down the next morning to the recommended laundry in the same building. We were told to pay to the guy there, but he wasn't sure how much until we showed him the booking printout and did the additional calculation for the tourist tax. He was really friendly and even took in our luggage on the last day until the shuttle back arrived. The breakfast in the bar, also within the same building, consisted of 1 cappuccino and 1 croissant. Ok, and friendly service, but in deed not much to eat. The surprise on Sunday: the cafe was closed. It would have been nice to know that from beforehand! So we went to the nearest open cafe and had the same kind of breakfast there for some 2,50€ per person. One day too early we received a phone call: "Your taxi is here!" But we specifically told our first driver to pick us up one day later. No problem, they were also on time the next day! Overall, a perfect location for Vatican City, Metro and bus connections, perfect building, "Swedish style" rooms, moscito nets in front of the windows, air conditioning, clean bathrooms, friendly people all around, even though we didn't meet the owner even once, but everything concerning organization was chaotic as can be. So be prepared and make sure to take the offered shuttle taxi - they can be a great help and eventually the only option to get your key ;-)

“Value for the money!”

Good choice if you are big company, are confortable! Nice Location!! almost near to Vatican city! 10' with the bus to go to the center of Rome.The lady was very friendly and the breakfast enough good!
