Not much to add to what all the other reviewers have said. This place is a gem. Lots of original 500-year-old touches to the inn. It's located on a little side street close to the Pantheon and Navona. The location is perfect; we walked everywhere from here--Coliseum, Vatican, Trastaverda. The Borghese Gallery was a bit of a hike--maybe 35 minutes or so--but even that was fine. The room was good, not huge but big enough, and the bed was outstanding. Layla is wonderful and was full of helpful information. There's a delightful little cafe right next store where we had breakfast every day. My only admittedly petty complaint is that the shower was incredibly small. I'm not that big a guy, but I could barely turn around in it. Even my 5'3" 125 lb. wife was astonished by how small it was.

The Baghirova in Rome is a quirky little guesthouse located almost exactly between Palazzo Navona and The Pantheon. The location is incredible with all major attractions (from The Vatican to The Colisseum) within easy, flat walking distance. There are lots of places to eat and drink nearby and there is even a Carrefour Express very close in case you get fed up of restaurant food! In terms of the accommodation, the room was a good size and had everything we needed for a short break. Our bathroom was huge but the shower was a little small - I can only assume it is a standard size in Italy. On arrival, we were greeted by Layla who was very helpful whenever we saw her throughout our visit. If you want to stay in the heart of the Centro Storico district, Baghirova guest house is a great option.

If you want to feel like your staying in a old castle or something like that.. This is the place... The ceilings are probably 25ft high and wood... The art on the walls are interesting. For the price, the location is great. There isn't breakfast FYI, which is fine with me. The air-conditioning work… more

For the price, the location is great. There isn't breakfast FYI, which is fine with me. The air-conditioning works great, quiet and not noisy. Andwe had a room over the courtyard, which wasn't noisy either. ❤️

“Perfect Location! Small bathroom...”

I booked this hotel because of its central location amongst the historical sites/attractions. It was merely a couple blocks from The Pantheon, Piazza Navona was the opposite directly less than a half mile walk away. I booked this hotel because of its central location amongst the historical sites/attractions. It was merely a couple blocks from The Pantheon, Piazza Navona was the opposite directly less than a half mile walk away. Only a short walk from Pantheon was the fountain of Trevi and little beyond that are the Spanish steps and the Colosseum. Our only disappointment was the size of the bathroom, but we quickly found as we traveled Italy that most bathrooms, particularly the showers, are quite small. The location more than made up for the small bathroom. It was a comfortable room with a perfect location and reasonable price.
