We changed to this accommodation last minute due to building work at our original booking. Check in was quick & we were pleasantly surprised by our accommodation. Presumably it had recently been refurbished as everything looked new. The bathroom did let it down though as it’s so depressing in colour & the concrete walls & floor make it feel like a prison cell. The towels were really old, tatty & scratchy. We were in a 2 bedroomed ground floor unit with views of Amadores & the block we were in was located in front of the children’s play area & was so noisy from early morning until very late at night. If it wasn’t feral children screaming on the park it was adults shouting their fond farewells on their way back. The sunbeds around the pool were comfortable but very crammed in together so we thought we’d use the ones on the decking in front of the grassed area. Unfortunately we were constantly used as target practice by aspiring footballers, not just children but adults too. At one point one boy jumped across my sunbed (with me on it). Pool temperature was great but pool does look shabby. The jacuzzi (doesn’t work) was full of screaming kids. Hopefully the refurb to make this adults only will go ahead as the only way I would return is if it was child free.

We arrived very late we were the only family checking in so it was very obvious the reception guy wanted to leave.really rushed with no information. I suppose it made the check in fast but he didn't need to make it obvious by putting his coat on as we collected our key. The issue with this was our card key didn't work to begin with and I'm not sure who was available to help if we were locked out. Thankfully it eventually worked. First impressions of the room - Clean, quite spacious and fine for us. No unwanted bugs either all week. We were really happy with our room location block A near the lift. Beautiful view we discovered in the morning. Slept really well two single beds together but really comfy. Plenty of storage, sockets and a view from the bedroom too. Only issue with room hot water ran out in the shower. We discovered if you were three in the shower queue you had to be prepared for a cold shower. Not great but if you are careful person number 3 might get some hot water. Deposit for TV remote? Not sure why? We paid for air-conditioning it does get hot in October so glad we did. Also, it was more climate control so it could be used to warm the room too. Pool bar is very reasonable and has gorgeous cocktails. The pool snack bar is also cheap and food was fine. We were self catering so ate out every evening. We preferred Puerto Rico you can reserve a taxi with reception but to be honest quicker to wander to taxi rank near the beach. Cost is just under 7 euro. Amadores beach is beautiful and there are lots of restaurants for lunch. Not all open in the evening. Pool sunbeds are plentiful but still people reserving their perfect spot then turning up later. Really no need. We were there at half term always beds spare. Music can be noisy but if you are away from the speakers it's not too bad. We had a fantastic holiday and were happy with the hotel etc. We got a great deal so extremely satisfied with our stay here and if the price is right will return.

This holiday surpassed our expectations. For a 3 star, all inclusive we have to commend the food, always plenty of choice and superb selection of salads. Having stayed in both 4 and 5 star hotels we didn’t expect the rooms/apartments to be as big and we had plenty of storage. The staff ensure that everything is kept very clean with a bedding change half way through the week and towels changed 5 times out of 7. Some points to bear in mind, AC was only available at a charge, we didn’t need it because we visited in October but we imagine it would be necessary in the hotter months. Bathroom towels, although clean, were tired and dress code in the hotel was very casual. A bonus was the 20 minute walk into Puerto Rico along a lovely, traffic free, promenade for some well needed exercise daily. All in all, a lovely hotel and very well priced. We would return again if the price was right as bus or taxi into Puerto Rico or Puerto Mogán easily accessible from the end of the road. Amadores beach was also beautiful and we loved Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogán for different reasons.

Pros A lovely pool area. Kept very clean. Quite tranquil a lot of the time. We went in October so that may be why. Fantastic views from the pool area of Amadores beach. Nice good quality sunbeds that are comfortable. Never a problem to get a sunbed. Always plenty available. ( October) Pool bar very pleasant . And also very useful for lunchtime snacks. Reasonably priced too. Beach and restaurants, shops etc only a short walk away down a slight hill. About 5-10 minutes. Lovely beachfront restaurants. A quiet resort. But very close to Puerto Rico where there is a lot more going on. So you can have the best of both worlds. You need taxis to get around if you go further than Amadores because everywhere is very very hilly. There’s a Europa Centre up high above Amadores with lots of busy bars, shops and entertainment. There is a mini market shop in the hotel which is very handy but check times because at the time we stayed it wasn’t open at weekends. There is a Spar very close to the hotel too. Rooms at the hotel are basic but adequate. A small kitchen but we ate out so wasn’t a problem. The bathroom is fine but don’t expect anything glamorous. A nice walk in shower. The beds were fine. I asked for extra pillows and they were provided with no problem. The balconies have fantastic views and we watched the sunset from there several times. Absolutely stunning. The location of the hotel is perfect for views and availability to the beach The bedroom also has a tiny balcony which we loved because we could see the beautiful view from sitting on the bed. We only saw entertainment at the hotel once - the rest of the time we went out but on the one occasion it was a solo singer and he was quite good. Cons The towels provided in the bathroom were very very old

“Loud music”

It is Not possible to relax at the pool. Very Loud disco Music at the pool and kids running wild. Music in the Night too. Worn, but clean. Nice staff. Buffet is okay. Nice ocean view, but next to big loud road. Close to great beach. Would not come back because of the loud music at the pool.
