Safe,Clean,Relaxing. I can’t understand bad reviews, We thought it was great. Room: 403,Cleaned every day including Towels, Air Conditioning worked great even turned off of an evening as too cold. Hotel: Staff really good, nothing a problem from booking Taxis for trips to Pina Colada’s. Food: We were SC, Aldi just up the road so no problem. Old Town: We alternated between beach & pool but preferred Beach as lots to do. We paid for the guarded beach to the left of the escalator as umbrellas not allowed in front of your Beds, Life Guard and a good Cafe & Restaurant. A good clear uninterrupted walk to the Sea. Miscellaneous: Hotel on a hill with steep steps down into Old Town, if mobility issues then probably not for you but you can get a Taxi. We saw it as a challenge and over the week we got used to it.

Set over several buildings, this hotel-apartment complex is ideal for all travellers. The self catering apartment we had was very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Each site has its own pool and sun bathing area, the main building housing the reception, bar, restaurant and indoor pool/spa. Guests have access to all areas of the sprawling site. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The indoor pool and spa is a great addition. There was also an indoor bowling alley and squash courts but these were closed. If you struggle with hills and stairs, this may not be the hotel for you, it sits at the top of a steep hill and there are 98 steps down to the old town, ok until you have to come back up them. There is an Aldi and Lidl supermarket only 8 mins walk away. The only thing we needed during our stay was a dust pan and brush to help keep the apartment clean, this isn't provided. All in all it was a very pleasant stay, if I am in the Algarve again I would certainly consider staying here again.

“Amazing apartments with excellent views!”

Had to write this review on day 2 of my stay to alleve anyone else’s fears about this hotel! Had to write this review on day 2 of my stay to alleve anyone else’s fears about this hotel! We took a private transfer with jet 2 and we were here within 30 minutes.. room ready on arrival which was excellent as arrived at 12. We have a 2 bed 2 bath apartment with amazing pool and views! Apartment has large fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Kitchen is fully equipped and very spacious! It also has an amazing huge balcony the width of the apartment with entrances from the living area, kitchen and one of the bedrooms. We are staying for 10 nights but the tourist tax is capped at 7 nights. We were not charged the €500 holding fee, I think they do this to deter groups of people on stag/hen trips and also noticed on of the bars also bans them so maybe they are doing a his trying to keep the old town as amazing as it always is and not becoming like the strip!
