This B & B is excellent. It is centrally located, spotlessly clean with a very pleasant continental style breakfast. There is a kitchenette with tea and coffee available as well as a microwave, oven and fridge. Free WiFi a comfortable sitting room and our room had a small balcony which we used every day. The shower was one of the best I have ever used when travelling. The staff were very nice and very helpful. This place felt like a real find and I recommend it without reservation.

“Family vacation”

We stayed at 81 Bailen for one week. Our apartment was on the 4th floor. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a loving room. We stayed at 81 Bailen for one week. Our apartment was on the 4th floor. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a loving room. The safe in the apartment didn't work when we checked in, but was fixed promptly. We walked everywhere from the apartment (with 3 kids in tow). Easy to walk to the gothic quarter, Sagrada Familia and other Gaudi monuments. Loved it.

Barcelona El Prat was not the autobiographical account of one of our party but in fact the local airport which was a mere 25 mins from 81 Bailen. That's 81 Bailen which is on Carrer de Bailen, that's Carrer de Bailen. Just in case you get separated from the group. This is a functional, modern and well appointed apartment that coped with six adults. We could only find 5 electrical points so charging six phones was a bit of a problem but a solution soon presented itself. Like our previous sojourn to Berlin where Mark got €150 out to buy gifts but there was this sudden gust of wind and the money blew into this specialist nightclub which he couldn't go and get it back from (not a member).... Chris too suffered from localised weather phenomena - the sun had concentrated it's ray's so much on his pocket that he took his hot burning phone out and threw it at a passing group of women who had gone out running in short skirts, high heels and bad make-up. From a distance this may have looked like they were legging it having nicked his phone. All in all, he was safe, we all had 100% for the flight home and all he missed was a very odd last night meal.

We stayed in a Bailen Appartement house N°81 in Carrer de Bailen on the 5th floor. Beautiful appartment, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one living room. We could leave our luggage at the reception at 11h on sunday and they brough the luggage in the appartment , so when we came in late afteroon, luggage and baby bed were there. The location is perfect, close to Metro station (5 min walk) and 20/30min walk to Place Cataluna. The appartment was clean. we didn't use the kitschen, as we had all our meals outside. the road side is a bit noisy, especaily during the night, so I recommend earplugs. also the Wifi did not work for us, which is a pitty.
