“Good location, clean rooms”

We checked in late at night because of a flight delay. The staff is kind and helpful. The money for value is very good. Our room was clean, the breakfast is excellent - you can choose from a lot of food and the coffee is very good.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was pretty Spartan with no color or decoration. Breakfast was nice, although there is no prepared hot food - only hot drinks. There was one big flaw with Hotel Atlantic - the hotel sign! We were in room 105. Avoid this room! The hotel sign is right next to the window and is on all day and night. There was no shade or curtain to block the light! So all night in the room, it looks like it is already after sunrise, but that may not be the case! The restaurant literally next door to the hotel we found to be quite good!

“Quirky hotel in a good location”

We chose this hotel because of the location just a few minutes' walk from the station but still close to the centre. It proved to be a good find. We chose this hotel because of the location just a few minutes' walk from the station but still close to the centre. It proved to be a good find. This is a quirky place, with a very narrow frontage that goes back a long way, almost to the next street. It seems to be a converted house: our twin room had a double height space right to the tiled roof, as well as two bathrooms. The single room was small. Both were adequately equipped although the location of charging points for phones wasn't ideal. The aircon worked very well. Don't expect great views (or in fact any views at all), but it's a quiet location. Unfortunately the walls are very thin so noise from adjoining rooms is a problem. They serve a decent continental breakfast and the receptionists were very helpful, even offering to refill our water bottles before we went exploring on a warm day.

Unfortunately the room we got is very simple and most annoyingly the wall to the room next to us is paper thin. I guess you know what this means. Unfortunately the room we got is very simple and most annoyingly the wall to the room next to us is paper thin. I guess you know what this means. It seems to be the bathroom of the adjoining room behind our bed which is certainly not the entertainment that we expected when we booked the room. The only thing positive is the nice breakfast, but people might have to wait for a free space as the breakfast room is very small.
