I loved staying here the facility was nice Beatrice and Stefan know how to make you feel welcome and to take care of anything you may need. Whenever I visit Buzios again I'll definitely be staying in their company if I can. They are situated within minutes of Centro so whatever the reason you've come to visit it is ideally located shopping, dinning and beach life is all nearby. If you walk down the hill and go right you can find a VW thing rental company to drive an open too buggy around town if you'd like to enjoy the full experience.

I recently stayed at the Deauville Pousada with 3 friends whilst travelling to Buzios. I chose this Pousada based on previous good reviews and was not left disappointed. We were the only guests at Deauville and were welcomed on arrival by Beatrice and Stefan, the wonderful French couple who own this beautiful place. We were shown to our room which was a fabulous room that slept 4 - It was lovely and spacious with a double bed and 2 single beds along with a sofa and table. The bathroom was also of adequate size - My only criticism was that the bathroom does not have a door, just a curtain, so this is an issue for privacy when sharing with friends! But this didn't spoil our stay at all. The pousada is located up a very steep hill so be prepared for this - However it has the most spectacular views looking over Buzios so the hill is worth it for the great view! There is a pool and hot tub and great lounging chairs around the pool which we made use of and loved it! Breakfast here is just the best! We came down each morning to a wonderful feast of a breakfast beautifully laid out - There was everything you could wish for - Fruit, eggs freshly made for you, cheese, ham, bread, fresh juice and coffee and the most AMAZING coconut cakes that Stefan makes himself, they are just devine! We had an issue with the sink being blocked during our stay, (this was due to our own doing and not the fault of the owners) When we explained this to Beatrice and Stefan they were most kind about the unfortunate situation and when we returned to our room later in the day it had all been sorted out with no fuss - This was most accommodating of them and not to charge us for this, we hope the bottle of wine we brought for them made up for the inconvenience! This really is a great place to stay and you are made to feel very welcome by Beatrice and Stefan - Just ask them anything at all and they will be able to help and point you in the right direction! Everywhere is close by as all you have to do is just jump on the shuttle buses (for 2Real) that are always driving around the town or you can hire a buggy like we did - Great fun and defo recommend this, we did 3 beaches in one day with our little buggy! Buzios is a really cool place though, the beaches are all wonderful and the town has some brilliant shops and so many choices of restaurants and bars so you will not be stuck for choice! I would go back and stay at Deauville in a heartbeat as its a truly beautiful place with wonderful owners who look after you sooo well ..... Make sure you ask Beatrice to make you one of her amazing Caipirinha's and ask Stefan for his coconut cakes too, when we left he had made us a bag to take on our travels, they didn't last long!! A great place to stay, go see for yourself :-)

The Pousada Deauville is run by a wonderful French couple, Beatrice and Stefan. We were very lucky to have chosen this particular Pousada which is located on a green hill with its stunning view over the centre of Buzios. Everything about the place is a delight - the rooms are decorated with obvious care and taste. For once, what you see on the internet really is what you see when you arrive. It's just beautiful. Your day starts with that stunning view and a delicious breakfast of eggs, home made marmalade and jam, fresh fruit, various hams and cheeses along with tasty homemade cakes and biscuits. You can enjoy breakfast in the warm sunshine on the terrace of this beautiful house with coffee, tea or freshly squeezed orange juice. The perfect relaxing start to a day. Beatrice and Stefan go out of their way to make you feel at home - almost one of the family, in fact. My wife settled on this pousada because pets were allowed. We're real animal lovers so it was a pleasure to find our hosts 'family' includes three gorgeous dogs and it's true what they say - people who love animals love people and life in general too. So it was impossible not to feel completely at home in these beautiful surroundings and in the relaxing and welcoming atmosphere that Beatrice and Stefan have created. One of the many highlights of our stay was being invited to dinner with our hosts and friends from Brazil and France. Lovely company, fine wine and great food courtesy of Stefan, who's an accomplished cook. From this idyllic setting we were able to explore the peninsula. We discovered beautiful beaches either on foot or buggee/jeep. In the evenings we would explore the town and wander down to visit our favourite restaurants before walking home in the warm night air with the promise of a late evening Caipi on the terrace spurring us up the steep final 200 metres to the house. We spent three full days at the pousada, enjoying the sunshine and shade, taking occasional dips in the beautiful swimming pool which is nicely integrated with a spacious wooden deck. From the terrace you can enjoy the wonderful view - take a good book, have a snooze, enjoy the scenery or have a cool swim in the pool. Just perfect. Later watch the sun set from the deck and get yourself a stiff drink before dinner. Beatrice and Stefan have created a beautiful and memorable location for a truly special holiday - many thanks to you both - and we hope to return very soon. In every way we can think of the Pousada Beauville gets top marks, they really do a great job. We can't recommend them too highly. We loved it

“Very nice pousada with wonderful hosts”

I was at the pousada some time ago, I liked it very much. The owners are very nice! They make you feel at home and the breakfast is super! The owners speak french and themselves prepare crepe suzette for breakfast! It is very well located, with a beautiful view. I recommend for sure!
