Our room was big,, had a private terrace with dinner table, and a large bathroom. the view from the restaurant and bar is spectacular. most impressive: there was confusion regarding payment for breakfast, and the management waived the cost, when they didn't;'t have to.

“Great location, fun rooms, a bit dated.”

The hotel is in a great location. Try to get a room off the street which is very noisy. It is worth checking to see if the bar and restaurant are open. They close in October and we were disappointed as they looked like fun.

This hotel's location is perhaps its saving grace. At first things seem fine, modern electronic keys, clean well-equipped bathroom etc but then one finds little things. This hotel's location is perhaps its saving grace. At first things seem fine, modern electronic keys, clean well-equipped bathroom etc but then one finds little things. The balcony doors are difficult to open. the shower door is stuck, The loo doesn't stop flushing. The crazy light switch system is impossible. The carpet is dirty and there are cracks in the skirting boards. The noise through the single-glazed window from the street keeps one awake. It needs maintenance to get to where it would like to thnk it is. The breakfast room is nice but the breakfast very basic. The dinner restaurant is closed. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is situated in the ehart of old catania, and has charming rooms , but in my case the negligence in terms of upkeep (electrical stuff mostly) detracted from the charm. The hotel is situated in the ehart of old catania, and has charming rooms , but in my case the negligence in terms of upkeep (electrical stuff mostly) detracted from the charm. Also the step to get on the platform of the bed is a kind of dangerous when getting up in the dark. Sleep with light on and if that disturbs u, use eyeshades! Internet was fine People at reception were nice but apparently their rapport with maintenance was not so efficient. Breakfast on a glass-covered roof overlooking parts of the city, is nice.

Location is perfect. Comfortable public areas. Very good breakfast in amazing terrace with great atmospheric view. The room was dusty. Bedroom dirty with leftovers of hygiene items in the shower area and waste bin. At my request just to remove garbage from the waste bin, administrator suggested to wait till tomorrow, when cleaning staff will come. I was extremely surprised and insisted. The lady pretended she cannot understand my English, despite of the fact that 20 mins ago at reception she was quite fluent when recommending the guests to visit local festive and places of interest.
