“Very Good Stay”

My stay at the Ambassador was excellent . Room was very clean and comfortable. staff very friendly and very helpful in the morning i had breakfast was very good and very quick Overall, very pleased and will happily use the Ambassador again when visiting this area again.

“A hidden gem”

arrived at 11.20 after being at Moorfields to get my eyes done it was a stop so we could be outside of London as it was Friday and that’s no joke . No problem arriving that late someone there to greet and give us fresh milk and mugs as we did not want the plastic pots of so called “milk” Room clean… Plus

“Clean, safe & secure for lone female travellers”

Nice room, (executive) clean and warm on arrival with the Beast from the East reigning down on us. Great prices and a shop right next door so ideal for last minute snacks. Town centre is a straight drive on west wycombe road about 5min drive so perfect location. Would recommend

We stayed at the Ambassador Court last weekend. We had a double room at the back of the hotel which was very small but very clean. If you are a light sleeper a room at the back is probably to be recommended as the accommodation is on a very busy road. There is plenty of free parking at the rear … Plus

We stayed at the Ambassador Court last weekend. We had a double room at the back of the hotel which was very small but very clean. If you are a light sleeper a room at the back is probably to be recommended as the accommodation is on a very busy road. There is plenty of free parking at the rear of the hotel - this seems to be quite unusual in High Wycombe and is a definite positive. Other positives included a very friendly welcome on check-in including information on where to eat locally. The bed was also very comfortable however, and this is a personal bugbear because it happens so frequently, why can't/won't hotels provide two decent pillows per person? A comfortable bed was spoilt because of cheap pillows! The complimentary wifi was also very fast and reliable. On the negative side the room was very small; only one bedside table - I ended up opening the tiny wardrobe/drawer unit and using the base of the wardrobe as a shelf. We also had to put our suitcase on the table as there was not room to move past it if it was on the floor and we had to keep stuff in it as there was nowhere in the room to properly unpack. I'm not sure I would call the Ambassador Court a "hotel" - more a very good B&B. Although it provides breakfast, there are no public areas and no bar which I would expect a hotel with 3 stars to have. That said, we had a very enjoyable stay and would use the Ambassador Court again. There is also an excellent Budgens 24 hour store next door which was very handy. I would have rated this as a 4 if that was 'good' rather than 'very good' - 3.5 would be my preferred rating. I can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't have it, preferring instead to go to Morrisons (3 minutes away) for a cheaper alternative.
