“Lovely Christmas in a traditional Lakeland pub”
We spent Christmas in lovely Troutbeck, had drinks in the Mortal Man on Christmas Eve afternoon and enjoyed an amazing Christmas lunch there on Christmas Day. The pub was warm with open fires and a great festive atmosphere. All the staff were lovely, definitely a 5 star experience.

“Winter visit”
Visited a few times during a stay in the local area. Pub is lovely and cosy and in a great spot with lovely views. They have a nice selection of drinks and the food we tried was very nice, fresh and tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again,
