“Wonderful stay”

Very cozy and nice. Very lovely couple who ran the hotel, super cozy and nice breakfast with an amazing homemade cake. A pretty view of the lake/ocean from the windows where the breakfast is served. We are very happy with our stay! :)

Actually stayed in October 2016 and found awesome value with amazing views and very friendly service from the family hosts. Proximity to a true venetian stronghold, quietened down from the main island madness and full of the true local ambiance....yes real Venetians live round here. Plenty on this island, Giudecca, both a great bar and restaurant at the Hilton, and U can pay tomuse their gym. Cirpianis at the other end, with a handful of local cafes in between and prix supermarket for absolute bargain alcohol and Italian fine foods on the cheap. There's an auto laundromat about half way down with amazing instant espresso available..has to have the best views from any laundromat in the world. Getting to the main island is easy with frequent vaporetto services, noting it's worth buying a 10 trip card\pass etc. Will book again

We wanted to stay in a venetian styled accommodation and this fit the bill perfectly. At the time of booking this was also the best value in price when compared to similar properties in Venice. I received a very helpful email from the owner after booking, explaining how to get to the property from the airports, train station and bus station. On arrival the owners were incredibly helpful, telling us the best and cheapest way to get around Venice. The room was very clean, the beds comfy and the breakfast more than adequate. Using the coffee machine was a little confusing at first but an an older lady who I assumed was the grandmother (she was lovely) appeared and was very helpful and made us coffees etc The only complaint is the shower from the next room was noisy when being used. Other than that, the place is ideally situated close to a water bus stop. The view from the front of the building is stunning. The room was air conditioned, clean towels changed daily, beds made and breakfast provided. What more can a tourist staying in a foreign land want?

The owner is very keen to arrange the stay comfortable and tells you every information you need (providing that you can follow your incredible fast italian englisch), our first contact was with the older owner, who doesn't speak any English but reached us a small piece of paper with all information needed for the first hours, the room was not as beautiful as expected and very, very cold! (Simple/cheap bed with glamorous acting garnishment), the bathroom was not very clean - all in all I didn't feel very comfortable in the room, the breakfast was okay I would rate the cost-performance ratio as not very okay, but okay for Venetian circumstances
