“Excellent service”
Excellent experience hotel is in a ggreat location. All amenities are close by. The reception staff at the hotel were always so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was nice and clean thank you to house keeping. And thank you to younis at reception for the lovely gift on out last day.… more

“Please look after Captain Milkbeard ”
(28.6.23 - one of the kittens that lives in the breakfast courtyard is smaller than the others & has been a bit poorly. I call him(?) (28.6.23 - one of the kittens that lives in the breakfast courtyard is smaller than the others & has been a bit poorly. I call him(?) Captain Milkbeard, & he has responded well this week to being coaxed to drink milk from a cup & his eyes being wiped clean. Please look out for him if you can ♡) Easy check-in, friendly staff (especially Rosie the cleaning lady & the guys at the desk). Great location for getting out & seeing the city every day (and fantastic views on the walk back). Ask for room 304 for a cute covered balcony that really functions as a second little room in the warm weather. Furnishings etc. could use a little love but everything important (sheets/bathroom etc.) was clean and comfortable. Breakfast would be vastly improved for vegetarians if they kept the chips separate from the sausages, but the courtyard cats keep you company while you munch on fluffy bread & olives so no complaints here.

“At least it was not expensive...”

We selected Albatros Premier Hotel due to its convenient location that happens to be in 5 minutes walking distance from Hagia Sofia and public transportation as well. We stayed for 7 days in July 2023 and we changed four different rooms. The first one was very small and as it was at the first floor we could hear every noise from the street. Thank God we stayed there just for the first night. The second day they moved us at the second floor in a more spacious room. Unfortunately, we stayed there one night as the air conditioning system stop working and as it was Saturday it was difficult to find technical expert to repair it, so they moved us at the fourth floor in a newly renovated room. This room had (something like a dormer) window high at the wall without curtains. We knew that the morning light would wake up us early in the morning, but we stayed there as this was one of the two available options and the other option was worst. Moreover they promised us that the next day, they would move us in another room. The new (fourth) room at the third floor had view at Blue Mosque and a bathroom with glass door. The bathroom had a window so we continued waking up at six o clock in the morning and at that point we abandoned the idea of finding the perfect room to sleep in Albatros Hotel… Having stayed in four rooms of the hotel we highlight that: The mattresses were awesome! Just one of the four rooms had a wardrobe (at the 4th floor). Just one of the four rooms had a towel hook in the bathroom. Breakfast is very basic with poor options. However, personnel of the hotel were very kind, friendly and willing to help us. Special thanks to the adorable girl of the breakfast, named Dida and Rammo at the reception who gave us many detailed and useful information about sightseeing in Constantinople.
