Fairly standard city centre hotel. Excellent location, only 5 mins walk to the historic old town centre, and just below the city castle. Rooms were basic but clean. Fairly standard city centre hotel. Excellent location, only 5 mins walk to the historic old town centre, and just below the city castle. Rooms were basic but clean. Twin beds are jammed together, so don't expect a lot of personal space if you're sharing with a friend. Good shower in the bathroom. There is a tram line outside the hotel, but the soundproofing seemed good (on the 3rd floor anyway), so I didn't really hear it. Buffet breakfast is €13 and is actually good value at that, some hot food and plenty of fruit, cereals and cold meats. There are numerous cafes within 10 mins walk for other options though. Staff were very helpful when I'd forgotten a travel plug for my charger and loaned me a suitable cable. All staff were friendly and efficient.

The hotels location is fantastic, right in the middle and a short walk to both Old Town and the Castle. Transportation around is great. The room was nice with everything you need, including a small couch and room to store luggage. The only downside was the bed was very firm, almost hard and there was some street noise from the trams outside the door.

The location of this hotel is very good! It’s a 5 minute walk up the street on the side to the castle and a 10 minute walk into the old town. The location of this hotel is very good! It’s a 5 minute walk up the street on the side to the castle and a 10 minute walk into the old town. It’s in a quiet neighbourhood and next to a one way street so you don’t hear the traffic at night. Also a taxi from the airport only takes about 15 minutes depending on traffic. Check in was easy, I didn’t realise I had to pay a tax on arrival though. I was in room 104 on the first floor. The room was good and spacious and clean. The bed was a bit hard but the pillows were nice and soft. Bathroom a nice size and had a hairdryer. The only issues I had were that the door that separated the rooms and public area on the first floor was broken so it didn’t lock, which meant that it felt a bit unsafe as if anyone could walk through to the rooms. Also on my last night, 3rd night, there was some drilling noises above my room that went on until 9pm, and lots of slamming doors and shouting. Up until then it had been quite peaceful. Check out was easy and you just leave your key card in a box and go. I would stay here again but maybe ask for a room on a higher floor to feel safer with the broken door on level one.
