The Grande Fjord hotel enjoys a spectacular location on the banks of the geirnagerfjord. The hotel consists of newly built main building and a collection of smaller log cabins. The hotel occupies the main building which is of wooden construction resembling a chalet style ski resort hotel. The hotel is actually built into the the hill coming up from the Fjord, entrance to the hotel is actually on the 6th floor and then you take the elevator down to the reception.
Located on the top floor it is an informal quiet restaurant.

“True luxury in the fjords !”
Amazing location , the best in town. Modern and comfortable rooms with incredible view on the fjords. Excellent breakfast. Diner was fantastic with great view on the water. Katrina at the reception desk was super helpful with tours arrangements. Highly recommended.
