“Rege Hotel feedback for business travellers”

I just checked in into the Rege hotel the 6th of May at 3pm . I will not make any comment regarding the location as for my business is well located. However, just after check in I ask at the reception if I can have ironing table and Iron for my shirts and pants to be ironed for my meetings the day after. Very surprised as the answer was no and I have to give my shirts and pants to the laundry at 8am in the morning in order to get my clothes before 9am . So please don’t book any business meeting before 9am if your clothes are not ready... also very disappointing as to iron 4 shirts and 1 pants it will cost me the cheapest amount of 29 euro...ridiculously expensive Enter in my room and it was very hot and ask why the air con is not working and the receptionist told me as the air con service will be on by next week...in the meantime he told me as I must open my window for fresh air. Feedback from the food and other services will follow later.

“Better inside than outside”

As many previous contributors have righteously mentioned, the hotel looks much better from inside than outside. Rooms are fine, but ventilation is quite noise. As many previous contributors have righteously mentioned, the hotel looks much better from inside than outside. Rooms are fine, but ventilation is quite noise. We used one of the meeting rooms in the hotel and noise from ventilation there was simply unbearable. Talking about the meeting room: the lighting was also poor and microphones did not function properly, what was extremely annoying. Lunch and dinner in the restaurant were fine, but I did not find breakfast as fantastic as many other contributors: quite average in my opinion, with limited selection of everything (excepting jams). Back to the rooms: cleaning was fine, but I had troubles with the main electricity switcher. It requires insertion of hotel's card, but it kept switching off with card inside and it is difficult to find it in the dark. It takes app. 15 minutes' walk to San Donato metro station, otherwise there is only McDonalds outside the hotel and nothing else. Considering very reasonable price and proximity to Linate (if you need it) I believe that the hotel is fairly OK to stay there.
