“Decent rooms with a nice view”

Decent rooms with a nice view, good location in the center of Yangshuo, from where all main attractions can be reached on foot. Beds are a bit hard but still guaranteed for a good sleep. Helpful and friendly personnel, no elevator unfortunately.

It was ok and that's all you can say about it. The Plusses.. + Central in the town + Reasonable size bedrooms The Minusses - Building site behind - work will continue for many months so bring your ear plugs - Warm water if you are lucky - Charge for water in rooms - Wifi worst we have had in China - and don't try and blame it on the construction site as it just does not wash. We had to go here as on a G Adventure trip. If you are travelling independently don't go.

“Basic”

Great location in the centre of town. Wifi only really works in the lobby. Rooms are good enough, shower was rarely warm though. They could benefit from purchasing 'do not disturb' signs to put on the doors to stop being woken up in the mornings.

Room - clean enough (Chinese standards). Bed was fairly hard but the Chinese (and I) like that. The bathroom was among the better ones I experienced in China. Reception - efficient and friendly but almost no English. Well, what do you expect? You are in China not England! I didn't use the WIFI but I heard it was not great. Noise - behind the main building is a building site. Chinese people do not believe in 9 till 5 but work in shifts instead so the noise went on through the night. I used ear plugs but this wont suit everyone. Location - Great as it was close to restaurants, shops, the park, the bank, the supermarket. Water - not free which was pretty unusual in the hotels. Most supplied two small bottles for free but this was charging well 'over the odds' for their bottles.
