“Great Rooms for Families”

We were incredibly happy about our stay here. We got a spacious two bedroom suite, in effect two twins with the added benefit of a large well furnished living room. Beyond a kettle there were no cooking facilities but there is an abundance of good cheap food nearby...we were not expecting any either. We really liked the green tea which came with the kettle. Beds comfortable, everything clean, check in check out smooth. We also liked being able to store our bags for free for the two days when we went to visit the wall. It is an easy walk from Jingsong and Pangiayuan stations on Metro Line 10. We booked this through another platform inside China and paid CNY 2098 for three nights. We were very pleased with this price. Seemed fair in terms of what we got.

I spent just one quick night there. I had mostly eggs fro breakfast. Most of the food is Chinese. Rooms were clean and neat. Wifi was good. Nothing opens after 10 p.m. in the area except KFC and McDonalds. Allow a lot of time to reach the hotel since you will always stuck in heavy traffic once yo… more

Nothing opens after 10 p.m. in the area except KFC and McDonalds. Allow a lot of time to reach the hotel since you will always stuck in heavy traffic once you are around it.

“Big rooms not far from Panjiayuan”

I stayed here for one night to be close to Panjiayuan, which was about an 8-minute walk away. The hotel is in a tricky location. It is only 5 minutes south of the Jinsong subway station, but easy to miss. There's an arched entrance on the main street (third ring) but the hotel isn't visible until you walk a minute in. Lobby was small and dark, as were the hallways. I was upgraded to a room that was huge, apartment-style, complete with living room, full kitchen and a bedroom with three beds--one queen, one twin, and a smaller one. There were televisions in both the living room and bedroom, but no foreign channels. Rooms weren't exactly dirty but it did have a very old feel to it. Carpeting was stained. There was a big, long open balcony but view of a dirt field. It was hot during my stay but the air conditioning to my pleasant surprise was strong. I wouldn't stay here again--too dark, dirty and creepy for me--but it was definitely a good value and for budget-conscious groups it does have some merits.
