My stay at the snooze inn.. I could have sworn it was called something else .. mini motel maybe. but anyway my stay was interesting to say the least. When I arrived the man checking me in was a charming helpful man. I've forgotten his name.. he runs around for quite a lot of the guests there. Was refreshing to see old school hospitality back in play. Another pleasant surprise was the cleanliness of the motel. I was slightly worried walking from the train station. Fortitude Valley streets are atrociously filthy. Even leading up to the door. Homeless everywhere very sad. My room was nicely made up and aircon was cold which I appreciated very much. My room was clean and smelt delightful. My only complaints would be the bed springs are shocking and the other guests are quiet noisy sometimes and untidy. The poor cleaner runs around all day cleaning after them. Alot of the guest are like a little family it was nicr to see as alot are struggling. All in all. For what I paid it was A grade service for short notice, quick, convenient tidy accomodation. I'll be staying again and recommending to friends and family.

“Get what you pay for.”

I stayed 3 nights recently. The rooms where small but clean, the cleaners where always around vaccuiming, cleanning, washing dishes etc. Friendly staff. I stayed 3 nights recently. The rooms where small but clean, the cleaners where always around vaccuiming, cleanning, washing dishes etc. Friendly staff. The on site manager is a character but would do anything for you. The mini hotel advertises a fully equiped shared kitchen and free coffee. 2 out of 3 morning we had no milk. There is No cups for coffee anyway, no cutlury, plates or hotplate for cooking. The gas burner, gas bottle was out of gas. The laundry is a worn washing machine with no where to hang your close to dry. Over all. You get what paid for.

“Slightly below average ”

Stayed here for 4 nights just to visit Brisbane and surrounding areas. It was alright location but we got an Uber into the town centre, which was cheap so not a big problem. Stayed here for 4 nights just to visit Brisbane and surrounding areas. It was alright location but we got an Uber into the town centre, which was cheap so not a big problem. We checked in ok and went to our room of which we were greeted to a massively damp smell. We took our shoes off and soon realised the damp smell was due to wet carpet. We decided to wear flip flops for the rest of our stay, which was not ideal. The rest of the room was clean and sheets were nice apart from a dirty blanket, and some lettuce under the bed that we saw when leaving (luckily). The air con was good but we couldn’t find a middle temperature which was just right throughout our stay. The motel is a 4 min walk away from the Fortitude train station which is brilliant if you want to go to the Gold Coast as we did. Overall our stay was average, for the price it was decent.
