My bed was relatively uncomfortable (exceptionally hard), the desk space to do any work on is incredibly minimal and the bathroom is okay. Quite a long distance from Downtown Seoul (in peak hour), but perfectly fine if you’re doing something nearby.

The room is very modern in some ways - perfect AC , light system and very down to earth in some others - set up of bathroom , entrance to the room The most disturbing thing was room and bathroom floor was full of long black hair . We felt so annoyed about this , therefore did not feel having a breakfast there . sockets were covered with dust , wall had stains too However their beds were super comfortable . Windows had perfect blinds that at 9 am we still thought it was midnight Also creams , shampoo etc was of fine quality

The hotel is listed as 5-star. Yes, it is 5-star because it is a new building. The finishes are definitely 3-star The rooms were generally clean but squeezed. You have to ask for service to get your rooms cleaned. Apparently this was the hotel Policy. I do not understand the policy. Where do we keep the rubbish. The breakfast has limited choice and is boring. Same breakfast daily. Staff generally very helpful, particularly Mr. Emad (Front Office) and Mr Sabtain Raza (Housekeeping). The Restaurant staff (including management) need extensive training to be flexible and customer savvy

“Works but quirky place that is sort of worn”

Right up front, I am a military traveler and I am here from the States for just a few days. The rates for rooms are reasonable for the regular traveler. Our price is based on military temporary duty (aka TDY) so is more expensive but that's okay. Bottom line, this is an older and kind of worn hotel that is sort of a Korean 'love shack' sort of place. Seems to be aimed at couples as a romantic getaway location. Quirky and interesting for many reasons. The elevator is so silent you're not sure it's working. The hallways have a dark discotheque look to them. Black marble and lit in a once-trendy way. The rooms use real brass keys rather than some digitized system and you place your key fob in a little receptacle inside the room so you can get power. Rooms come equipped with large TVs with mostly Korean channels and there was even a computer! Yes, a computer! Not as useful now as most folks just use their SmartPhones or tablets but it's there to use if you need it I guess. Unsecured wireless connections are free and by room so super easy to connect to. The wireless speeds were...super fast! Maybe it's a norm here but streaming video would play on my laptop without any lag at all. The rooms have wooden floors rather than carpet which was fine in my opinion. The bedding was quirky. A large dark and kind of metallic bedspread that is really too heavy so slides around too easily. It also had a couple of older and large theme pillows as in the kind you should not put your head on. The mattress might have been made of oak but still slept just fine. I think harder mattresses are normal here in Korea. Free bottled water in the lobby and you can make all the toast you like there a well. Again, kind of odd but I think the more we travel, the more oddities we observe and it's one of the things that makes travel so intriguing. The room also came with more hygiene products than I've typically seen. Mostly pretty high-quality items that are just there for you to use. There is also a can of bug spray offered. Bug spray here is perceived a little differently compared to how we view it in the US so try to not be taken too aback by seeing it on the same tray as skin products! Again, kind of old and worn but for the purposes of our trip, this room did everything it needed to. It was oddly comfortable in its own way and seasoned travelers will know what I mean.
