“Historic building, clean and comfortable, good service, perfect location”
We were on a 3 1/2 day bike tour around Tuscany, and the outfitter uses this hotel. We did not have a car; we came and went by bike. We stayed two nights. I am surprised by the negative reviews. “A quiet spot in the middle of a busy region.”
This is our second visit to Il Chiostro di Pienza and likely not our last. The people here are fantastic and the building puts you in the middle of the beauty of activity of Tuscany while providing an escape from the busy times if you want it.

“Lovely little hotel”
We had a great time at the hotel. We stayed here for a few nights at the beginning of our trip to Tuscany. It has a great charm (albeit not a full modern spec) but we enjoyed it. Staff are friendly, breakfast is great and the pool is excellent - especially in Pienza. We didn't eat at the restaurant… more

“Great disappointment!!!!”
Wonderfull location, amazing view of the valley, beatifull pool. After that everything downhill. True it was a monastery but rooms suitable for monks that have made vows. Tiny and unsuitable for an hotel which claims four stars!!!! The safe was not working, neither was the air conditioning. One of… more
