I've seen this described as a hidden gem and would agree. The rooms are fine and clean, grounds quite spacious and well maintained. The apartments are a 10min bus drive to the town centre, which gives an escape from the crowds. The pool area is great for chilling out. A basic breakfast is provided but there is access to the main kitchen area to cook your own food, which we sometimes did and ate it out of an evening. The owners and staff are very friendly, chatty and helpful. I'd go back there again and would recommend it others.

Very nice apartments in greek style with a wonderful garden,nice trees, flowers; pool, spascious rooms, I was there some years ago, so friendly and welcome owners, warm atmosphere, breakfast under the trees, prepared by the lovely Marys; wonderful souvenir, hope to return;

We were allocated the Seagull Apartments after our initial booking at another hotel fell through less than a week before departure. Ideally wanted something nearer to Kos town but so glad now that we stayed here as it is just far enough away from the hustle, bustle and heat of the town but within a short bus/cycle/taxi ride. Bus stops righpt outside the gate - €2 to Kos town for an adult and €1 for children. The apartments are spotless. We were put in the lower ground floor so the windows at the back were higher up but the entrance is only a couple of steps down and there is a little patio area facing the front/side garden within view of the pool, so handy for nipping back to the room. There was a slight musty smell when we first arrived but this had disappeared by morning and never returned so may have been that the room hadn’t been used much recently and just needed to be aired. In the centre of the apartments is a courtyard area, partly covered where a free, simple breakfast of fresh bread and jams is offered with tea/coffee/juice. (A lovely surprise as our booking said no meal options available). A more substantial breakfast is possible for around €5 but this was fine for us. The place is well maintained, both outside and in. Simply decorated but fresh. Clean towels a couple of times a week or on request. The pool is a good size and again spotless. A lot of the time it is very quiet and we had it to ourselves for some of the time. There is a bar area but this was not in use. Marilies is a super host and very attentive to the guests. She organised tickets to the waterpark for us and told us where to pick up the free bus to get there. Also arranged bike hire. A really lovely lady. There is a small supermarket with limited supplies about 3mins walk down the road but more with greater choice along the road to Kos. There are also a couple of tavernas within short walking distance - we tried the one by the supermarket which was nice with great service although, as is the case with a lot of the tavernas now, it seems that everything comes with chips! If I came back to Kos I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again - well worth the money, a delightful little place

Spent a week in Seagull with fsmily. The apartment was small and basic but the surroundings were beautiful. Marisa gave us a nice breakfast where we could chat to other guests The pool area was very pleasant. Little birds came for a drink and crickets sang Loved it. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday Seagull is the place for you. There is a great restaurant Taverna Romeo within a 5 minute walk and across the road is the beautiful Imperial Hotel which welcomes non guests. Enjoy a cocktail there.
