Hotel was clean and convenient. The breakfast consisted of over hard eggs, sausage and potatoes and pancakes (amongst other things) which seemed better quality than other BWs I have stayed out. Room had microwave and mini fridge which was nice. Hot tub and pool area was nice..Staff was nice and friendly. Room was clean with comfortable (firm) bed. Plenty of free parking.

“Nice stay in Pasadena”

Nice hotel, good location. Room was clean, relatively quiet, reasonably priced. Breakfast was pretty basic but they did have eggs and waffles. Staff was very kind and helpful, they do have an elevator, and we felt very safe. Would stay there again.

I have stayed here four different times between August and October, over two weeks at a time on one stay. In the San Gabriel Area, I found their King Suite to best suit my needs for when i needed a larger room to work out of. Unlike other hotels and suites that have separate livingrooms or work areas, this location has a generous space that allowed me enough room and layout to bring in a desktop computer and use the livingroom TV as a large monitor. In other hotels and motels I've had to use a laptop and bring in my own monitor. Their work desk is tall enough to easily use a full keyboard and mouse. The internet was fast enough to stream video and multitasking. With the exception of limited and no connection in the bedroom. They have a full breakfast everyday which included eggs, sausages, waffles and cereals. The woman running the breakfast area was very friendly and pleasant. The decor is older looking than the other Best Western Suites I stayed in across the U.S. The elevator was old. My two biggest dislikes about this location are they force you to eat the free breakfast in their office / dining area Considering tons of people in Pasadena are currently walking around wearing masks again, I found that a bit weird, especially since all the rooms have a mini-refrigerator and Microwave. Its the only hotel or motel during my recent 150+ days traveling and stays where I have encountered this. Even the Best Western Plus in nearby Glendale allows you to take breakfast back to your room. Other guests were coughing around me and this room is small and unventilated. I can't afford to get sick while traveling and working remotely. My second dislike about this location is the rooms smell dusty and old because of the carpeting. During my most recent visit in this area I chose a different location that doesn't have carpeting. Pricing wise, this motel is on the high side unless you get a membership discount through the app. Parking is free, similar to 99% of everywhere I've stayed. I didn't ask for room service since I had a desktop computer, files, and other items I didn't want disturbed. Their policy is that you have to ask for room service and can only ask once every three days. This is similar to every hotel and motel I have reviewed in the recent 150 days of travel. The King Suite has a separate living room with a couch, chair, desk, computer chair, mini-fridge, Microwave, a second large screen TV. If you'll be staying a while I recommend upgrading to the suite. It has a pool, I didn't visit it. It has laundry machines. Nearby is an Amazon Fresh, Target, Smart and Final, post office, KFC, Staples Office store.
