Best view to Truong Tien Bridge and Huong River, making us so lazy to go out. Definitely will come back and stay at Muong Thanh Hue whenever we visit Hue again.

“A Stay with a very memorable experience.”

This hotel is absolutely amazing. Really!! It’s part of a chain which I stayed in one of their other hotels in the city of Vinh and the experience in Vinh was quite negative in comparison to Hu’e. When I checked in, the porter escorted me to a suite where he demonstrated the functions of the air conditioning and TV controls which to me is quite important particularly during foreign travel. The very next day was my Birthday and to my surprise each of the breakfast staff on duty that morning took it in turn to come to my table and wished me a very Happy Birthday. That was an amazing touch which I hold as an unforgettable experience. Later that day, Anh, a lady from the management staff and two of her colleagues visited my room holding a Birthday Cake where again I was totally surprised. They came into my room singing Happy Birthday and shared the cake with me. The day after I had booked on a trip and whilst awaiting my transport I experienced a slight altercation where I believed that I was short changed at a coffee franchise connected to the hotel. However, as my trip was a full day Anh, the lady of the management team, awaited in her own time for my return to demonstrate with CCTV footage that I had been mistaken with my financial transaction at the coffee shop. Of course I apologised to the person whom I’d believed to making the error but more importantly that the hotel staff went to the extreme to ensure that the guests are treated fairly and that they are very important people. Anh had explained that her shift had finished a few hours earlier but as she’d already made a connection with me she’d made her task to await for my return so that she could explain the out of the earlier situation. The next day following this, Anh was working on reception duty where we shared a few laughs involving some of the other staff. They truely go out of their way to ensure that guests are having a positive experience. Knowing that western guests (particularly solo travelers) are such a very long way from home they really do go a very long way to include you. I was enquiring at reception the logistics of private transport to the local airport and they were very efficient in organising me a private transfer vehicle at the cost of only 300,000 VDH, = £10 = $14-15 which is a bargain!! The cost of this hotel is a little more expensive than your average Vietnamese Stay but it is Four Star, quality service, fantastic facilities which I did not take advance of such as an outdoor pool, a spa at very reasonable priced £10 for a full body massage etc.. It is very quiet and especially clean. If I’d any complaints they would be very petty such as the coffee cups at breakfast are too small for my liking, I got maybe five or six sips from it and I like my coffee hot and fresh but it is what it is and I don’t want to be too overpowering with petty demands after all, they really are customer focussed!!

“Great staff!”

Lovely place, clean, good tours. The staff were the highlight for my friends ans I. Cu was especiallg helpful and lovely when we lost our bags on a sleepr bus and had to sceamble to find them and get them back. Without him we wouls have surely lost all our things.

“Very helpful staff”

Our friend lost his bag on a coach getting here, the staff were incredibly helpful in getting it back before we had to leave for hanoi. Cu served us, his English was great and he called the coach company because we aren't very good at Vietnamese.
