“Value for Money”

Got a really good deal at 60% discount off the normal price when I booked few months ahead. This made the hotel a steal! Room is spacious and clean. The hotel is also located near MRT station and bus stops. Pretty convenient to walk around.

We had room 1117, it was in nice condition, good size room away from the elevator facing the street. The check in was fast, service was great from the cleaning lady. We stayed for 8 days and took the metro to the ferry port to go to the Hong Kong Airport on departure, made it very easy as the port is on the same line as the hotel. There is alot going on in the area, the huge pedestrian shopping area,across the street, and in the back area a bustling center of shops and eats, spas and stores. The largest spa in Shenzhen in about 3 blocks away. We did check out other hotels nearby, this one is the best value for the money by far.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nites with family...took 2 rooms...the price of the room was good...liked the layout of the room with the separate toilet & bath room (at least one person can do their 'business' while the other is having a bath :P)...basic amenities, shower gel, shampoo, water kettle, mini bar...there is also cable internet connection...for wifi connection, u can only connect at the lobby area... the hotel is just a stone throw away from the MRT Hubei station exit C/D (can't remember)...very easy to find the hotel actually...as soon as u exit the MRT station u can see it...read some reviews that the hotel is located at behind some ugly walls, but when i was there, nothing was there blocking the hotel and the lobby is at the ground floor now...probably previously there were some renovations being done at the hotel... there are many restaurants around, pharmacies, even a supermarket...there is a convenience shop at the ground floor of the hotel...less than 15 minutes walk, u can find a Halal restaurant called ZFY restaurant...good & recommended for Muslims (let me know if u would like to know where it is)...also, less than 10 minutes walk, u can reach the Dongmen Pedestrian Street... basically, everything is within walking distance from this hotel...the only down fall of this hotel is that there is no wifi in the room, no value added service (cab service to airport, arrangements for tour, etc..), not sure if this hotel has a restaurant or a coffee house as i can find it at the ground floor, no toilet at the ground floor or the lobby floor... Pros: -Nice room layout -Basic amenities -Helpful staff -Internet cable connection in room -Convenience store at ground floor outside hotel -Super strategic location (near to almost everything) Cons: -No wifi connection in room -No value added service -No toilet at ground/lobby floor

The main selling point of this hotel is it's hot location and contemporary room design at a hot deal. I would comfortably rate this hotel as 3 stat since there is not much of facilities accept a decent massage centre. You get free Internet service in the room but not broadband. If you have no computer, you may use the free Internet service in the massage centre if you are using the service. The only setback of this hotel is the weak shower, AC not cold, and corridor AC on off mode. I appreciate the management effort in conserving energy to save the environment but customer factor have to be taken into consideration too. KL
