“Excellent”

It’s our 2nd time in Crete, we stayed in a different much quieter area the first time. Saradari is very tranquil but close enough to walk to the town. Myself and my husband stayed at Saradari Apartments 5 nights towards the end of the season. 26-31 October. There was still a lot open and by the last night it really wound down. We was dropped off at the beginning of a footpath and followed the Saradari signs, it literally is round the corner so a very short walk. You come to the pool and across it is the bar/restaurant where Stavros welcomes you with the warmest welcome. He runs the apartment with his lovely wife Ellie. The apartments are immaculately clean and we had fresh towels on our 4th day. There is a spacious balcony and a clothes horse provided. We had decent equipment and utensils for tea, coffee and storing food. Our bedroom had a double and single bed and the kitchen also had a single bed. The bathroom was modern with a powerful shower. We was on the 1st floor with a beautiful view of the pool and sea and I got to see the sunrise on the our 1st morning. The food is really good here cooked fresh and very tasty. We had quite a few drinks in the bar and Stavros was the perfect host he puts on a bar b q once a week and it is fantastic. The beach is a short walk away just turn right from the Saradari sign and it’s pretty obvious from there once on the beach front keeping walking left and you’ll come to Taverna Gorgona it is well worth a meal here great atmosphere and delicious food and you can use the beach there too. If you want to go to the town walk right from the sign and you’ll come to a hill on the right of the open air cinema keep walking and you pass the Maris Crete hotel on your left then chuck a left at the first road you come to and that will bring you out to the beach turn right and you’ll pass bars and restaurants keep going turn right at the harbour and you’ll come to a very lively strip. It’s got something for all ages but if you keep going it forks off so you can shop or walk along the beach it goes on forever and there are some very nice places to drink and eat like Crete Blue restaurant or Scorpio. The villages, Koutouloufari, Piskopiano and Hersonissos old town are not far and Stavros can order you a taxi it’s roughly €12 you will really miss out if you don’t visit them. All in all a fab time and we would highly recommend Saradari for the perfect hosts, comfortable accommodation and location.

“Lovely holiday”

Had a lovely holiday. All the staff (Stavros and his family) were very attentive and couldn't do enough for you. Enjoyed our lunches there by the pool. “A peaceful, friendly oasis”
