On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

“Great place to stay in the heart of the Old Quarter”
Discovery II was a superb place to stay. Clean rooms and a very helpful and friendly staff ready to help you with anything you need. Whether it is where to eat or go next and how to get there, day trips and excursions they can organize it all. The complimentary breakfast was nice and the rooms were… more

“Good Location to Beer Street, Helpful Staff, Comfortable For What You Pay”
My room did not have a window, and beds were box springs. But for me I like a firm bed. The elevator stopped between floors, so you had to use the stairs to get to your room. Breakfast was mostly Asian food, but did have fried eggs, toast with butter and jelly, also pancakes. Coffee was ok.

They also addressed the fact that the AC really didn’t cool down the room the first night we were there. They did allow us to leave our bigger suitcase while off to Ha Long Bay, so we were thankful… more
