We had a one night stopover in this aparthotel and while it was basic, it was really great. There was an underground carpark, and our studio apartment was large and very well equipped, with a big fridge and well equipped kitchen area, a nice clean bathroom with lots of hot water, a comfortable bed and free wifi. It was easy walking distance ( along the tram line) into the centre.

“Overnight stop - not for light sleepers or those wanting ample parking.”

We arrived late on a stop over. You have to book parking which is small and underground which despite doing was no space for our 4x4. Ended up parking in staff area. We arrived late on a stop over. You have to book parking which is small and underground which despite doing was no space for our 4x4. Ended up parking in staff area. No space outside other than 2 or 3 pavement spaces. BE WARNED - The hotel is RIGHT NEXT TO or almost ON the tram. From 5am ish I was woken up every 10 minutes as one went past. The gentleman on the desk was vey helpful and the room was air conditioned and clean. If it had outside parking and not hear the tram would have been much better nights sleep. It’s not in a nice area so nothing to do if you did get there earlier. You’d have to go into the city.

OK, things are complicated in COVID times, so I can't comment too much on things such as cleanliness, breakfast, reception etc. The room was large, but very basic and empty. There was no character and no comfort. Yes, there was a small kitchenette area, but I missed not having a kettle, and the cutlery was in a tray high in a cupboard so, even at 1.90m, I had to grope around to get anything out. Apart from a small table for 2, a small desk, and 2 hard chairs, the room was empty - not much for an appartment. The room really calls out for a settee or a couple of armchairs, as the only 'comfortable' place to sit is on the bed. The bed was OK, but I would have welcomed a second pillow. The bathroom is small, and the shower curtain (even inside the tray) did nothing to stop the floor being flooded after a shower, with resultant wet feet after a trip to the loo. Water was hot, but water pressure very low. As we stayed for a week, we had no cleaning, and it was up to us to make beds, remove full rubbish bins, seek refills for the breakast (taken in the room) - not the fault of the hotel. Our room was at the back of the hotel, so we were woken soon after 5am each day for the first tram (linking the two stations in Orléans), and then regularly thereafter, so there was a price to pay for the close proximity of the tram stop ! As my first experience of an 'appart hotel' I was left disappointed.
