Nice hotel with a great view, 1 block on a dirt road off the main street in town. Room is nice but there's no AC. Also, no elevators, and we had a room that is 2 stories up. Nice hotel with a great view, 1 block on a dirt road off the main street in town. Room is nice but there's no AC. Also, no elevators, and we had a room that is 2 stories up. The spa is nice to use after hiking; book it on the hour. Breakfast is free and really good. We had one dinner at the hotel and it was excellent, with good drinks. Overall very good customer service.

“Great hotel in El Chalten”

We stayed here before and after our 3 day 2 night trek into the national park. This is probably the nicest hotel in the area, with the best views of the mountains. We stayed here before and after our 3 day 2 night trek into the national park. This is probably the nicest hotel in the area, with the best views of the mountains. The service was excellent and the staff was so nice and accommodating to all of our needs. Our only regret was not staying longer! The buffet breakfast is delicious with so many options. Dinner was outstanding, but pricey and worth every penny. You can get a box lunch for your trek, but it needs to be ordered the night before. The welcome drink was a nice treat after the 2 1/2 hour drive from El Calafate. There is a sauna and hot tub, but you need to make a reservation. The hotel stored our luggage and allowed us to leave the car in their parking lot. They also have a guide that can help you plan your trek if you want to go on your own. We saw many people trekking on their own, the trek to Fitz Roy is long but worth it!

Lovely hotel situated atop the hill, restaurants and stores are a short walk away. Room is nice but no AC but we got a fan. Housekeeping cleans daily. We booked this hotel to celebrate our 8yr Wedding Anniversary and it was perfect, in fact we got an upgraded room for that. The hotel spa is a nice offer especially after a long day of hiking and Breakfast is free and really good. Valentina the manager was very accommodating and attentive to our needs, She’s amazing! same with other staff at the restaurant and the front reception ladies who provided knowledgeable tips about hiking trails and weather forecast. Overall , Great customer service and would love to come back again at this hotel.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The staff was amazing and very friendly and helpful, especially Valentina, Luciana, and Ignacio. Ignacio gave us several suggestions for our daily hiking, including taking the bus to Rio Electrico for a fantastic hike. We asked staff to make dinner reservations for us, and they gladly did so with great results. The hotel breakfast was the best in Argentina that we had, including offering gluten free toast. The fresh fruit was especially good and very much appreciated. There are many large public areas in the hotel, both on the main floor and on the 2nd floor, that are great for hanging-out. We tried out the hot tubs in the hotel and they were very nice after long and strenuous hikes. However, they could be a bit cleaner. Our room was adequately sized but we think over-priced, even for El Chalten. The bathroom was small but adequate; the jacuzzi tub didn't work very well. The bed was very comfortable but the comforter was too hot and heavy during our stay; a lighter option would have been nice. We found the pillows to be too large and heavy, but we asked for alternatives that were provided by the wonderful staff. If you need something in your room, just ask and they will take care of it....don't be shy!
