“very nice hotel in Norcia”

the hotel is ideally situated just outside the city walls of Norcia, and has very good sporting/ entertainment facilities; we were very impressed by the very nice, friendly and flexible staff and enjoyed our stay very much ( wished we could have stayed longer)

this hotel is overall a good experience, good service and a clean room. fine small outdoor pool and a large indoor pool. we could park our donkeys in the ranch on the opposite side of the street. only the roster next door ruined the sleep together with a worn out matress.g

We were very satisfied with our stay at the Best Western Hotel Salicone in Norcia. Just outside of the town walls (an easy walk into town). The rooms were comfortable, the showers worked well. Reasonably good WIFI speed for a place in the mountains like this. Breakfast was very good for what I've come to expect in Italy. Some warm items, pastries (watch out for pits in the date pastry, though), fresh fruit. The servers were quick to ask you if you wanted coffee or tea. The only complaint I would have is that they cater to athletic groups, and sometimes these guests were noisy and banging doors late into the night. Make sure you don't get a room near the emergency exit door, which people kept trying to use. This isn't the hotel's fault, but it was an annoyance.

This is an hotel of the BW system but owned and operated by the same family which owns several other hotels and restaurants in town. This is a large hotel on three floors which has many positive things. The location, just outside the walls, is not in town but within 10 min of pleasant walk from the square and free parking. It is also next to a sport center with swimming pools and several basketball and soccer fields. The construction is interesting, the interior is well built and the room comfortable. The staff was superb: local people very kind, absolutely knowledgeable of the area and eager to please. The breakfast, by italian standards, was more than acceptable. Unfortunately the hotel is very noisy. Sound proofing is limited and you can hear the noise from the various sporting events past midnight, plus the noise from adjacent rooms. Compounding it, during the summer the hotel houses one hundred plus young kids participating to a soccer summer camp: although they were remarkably well behaving there was additional noise and chaos.
