Great service, great experience, excellent attentiveness from employees, especially Ashanti and Samirah, as well as Trent and Claire. Very professional, they worked hard to assure a perfect stay. The hotel restaurant was very good, and the location very convenient.

This was our second stay at the Logan and I rebooked the hotel without any consideration because last time was so nice. But this time... My, my, how things have changed. First and most importantly it was the attitude of the staff: We arrived early for a massage at the Underground Spa (very nice facility and "reasonable" rates for a couples massage). Since we would be spending 2 hours in the spa, we didn't need an early check in but were offered a Suite upgrade because our assigned room was not ready. As a Hilton Diamond member I asked if that was gratis and was informed that it would be $50 for the night but it was a large suite with a great view. As it was my wife's birthday, I agreed. The desk associate suggested that we leave our single bag with the bellman and it would be delivered to the room while we were at the Spa. Great! After our Spa treatment we went straight to the room. I was excited to show my wife the upgraded suite for her birthday. She had some type of wrap in the Spa and wanted to take a long, hot shower and climb into bed wrapped in those great Logan jersey robes. Much to our disappointment, our bag was not in the room. So down I went to the desk, to find the bag, right where I left it. I mentioned that it was 2 hours later and the bag wasn't sent up and they asked if I'd like it sent up now. Um... That's not the point at all. So I took our bag and she got in the shower. Not an upgraded suite style shower but fine. The next problem is that the towels were all dirty. Spotted, yellowed and threadbare. So I called for more towels. Waited 30 minutes and went down to the desk again to enquire about the towels. The response, again, sorry we will send them up now. Uh... ok... but what's with the service here??? I came up to the room and my wife is not in her Logan Jersey robe. I ask why and she tells me that there are no robes in the room. I just didn't want to go back down and she wasn't too upset so I left that one alone. When we checked out, I did ask the agent about the robes and she said that suites don't have robes any longer but we will send them up if asked. Huh? For her birthday, there was no fruit, no card, no wine, no snacks, no nothing. And in a Suite, where it should have been sent to the suite regardless. Again, I brought that up and was told that every hotel is independently owned and that the management decides what benefits suites have. At Logan, these things are not part of the suite. So why charge me for an upgrade???? The one highlight is that the Valet guys were super! Fast and helpful. We may come back to the Underground Spa but why would anyone choose this run down, poorly managed property when there are great options like the Palomar for the same price and there they are happy to have you!!

“Old, dirty in need of renovation”

I’m at The Logan right now for a two night stay. Hotel lobby is lovely. Our room however, is not. Bathtub literally had a ring of scum at the drain end of the tub as well as quite a few hairs. Sheets had a hole on one bed and the other bed the pillow case was very stained (hoping it is stained and not dirty). I did not want to deal with someone coming to clean the tub, so I wiped it out with a wash cloth. For a curio hotel, it is very disappointing. I can deal with old, but dirty cannot be excused.
