“Ordino - peaceful village”

A pleasant hotel away from the bustle of Andorra la Vella. Very friendly service at the reception desk, spacious rooms and bathrooms, good buffet breakfast. Several pleasant restaurants nearby that were good value and friendly.

two weeks ago came back from ski vacation in andorra. Stayed in very nice village Ordino, hotel Prats (by the recomendation of few friends staying earlier in that hotel). Nice and clean,simple hotel with calm atmosphere.Clean and rather big rooms. Very comfortable for the skiers that want to ski in several places of valnord (pal and arkalis). The freebus station is 2 minutes walk from the hotel.Nice sport center is also few minutes walk from the hotel. The personal is very friendly. Next ski season will come back!! :)

“cusy hotel in wonderful place”

we booked the room via the hotel's website (www.hotelordino.com) it was reccomended by our Andoranian friends. The price was very low - 70EU per dbl room on half board. The rooms are nice, clean with comfortable beds,bath and balcony. Simple but fresh and tasty breakfast,on saturday evening they made barbeque. Outdoor swimming pool has heating system and we could also enjoy it , the water was about 27degrees.For our luck - unless it was the end of september , the weather was very warm (25-30 degrees during the day). As we understood it's unusual for this period. Ordino is very nice old village and it's location is great for those who like walking paths and mountain climbing (there is good via ferrada center 3 minutes walk from the hotel and they orginized everything for climbing - it was great!!)The hotel's owner also showed us the routs for walking - we enjoyed each moment in this small , calm and nice principality. As a conclusion - u can hardly find better place for calm vacation full of great views and fresh air... By the way , pets are allowed. We came with our dog and it also got very good treat :)

“Well located but not clean”

We were lucky to have a really big room with a huge bed (but only after rejecting the room they originally wanted to give us). Nice view, big balcony, big TV, almost no street noise, swimming pool, friendly service. But the positive first impressions faded as we realized that room service never includes cleaning the floor and clean towels already have stains (of lipstick and black stuff). That is, if you get fresh towels at all and the cleaning person did not "forget" to pass by your room. Sheets were not changed every second day, as had been promised. Breakfast is not bad compared to other hotels in the area but if the hotel is full (weekend) the breakfast "buffet" is much too small, and you have serious problems accessing the coffee machine and bread simply runs out. Also the swimming pool is not sufficiently cleaned, certainly not on a daily basis. There are entire families of dead insects floating on the surface and lots of rubbish (including a newspaper!) sunk to the ground. The promised WiFi does not reach the rooms and is very slow. Our bathroom had big fungus/mildew on the wall and calls for redecoration. The advantage of the hotel is its location: On the quiet edge of a lovely village, ideal starting point for hiking tours. The hotel offers free guided hiking tours which is great. But beware of tours described as "average difficulty": It only means that you don't have to actually climb the mountain, but the tour can still be very demanding, especially for people who are not used to mountain hiking. But this is not the problem of the hotel but of the tour provider with which they cooperate. With a bit of more effort concerning cleanliness, service and professionalism, this could be a really nice hotel.
