Samantha esa a very nice bartender instructor, she gave us a really funny mixology class in Vidanta puerto peñasco at the bar pool, thank you for the class and having a great time with family anda friend in our vacations along with all the staff at the Pool

Nice resort with beautiful beach had very nice food available on site, workout room had gorgeous view of the beach and the sea of cortez

Cons: Studio Rooms are small with no balcony to sit on, no mini fridge or COFFE MAKER in the room and ZERO places to buy coffee prior to 0700, for some that’s not a big deal but to me it was. I asked for a coffee maker and they advised they were going to charge me! I declined as I didn’t want to pay $300 pesos …well they brought it anyways and also charged me $19 for a coffee maker, and 2 packets of decaf ….good thing I brought my own coffee, sugar and creamer. Limited breakfast options besides a $30 buffet. Drinks are pricey, and the food can be as well. (They do have a few reasonable lunch options. ) Ground squirrel’s near the succulents by the pool were WAY too aggressive, crawling in our bags, chewing my book and even crawling on my husband. No bueno. Fly bags in plain sight hanging from trees. Pros: Staff! Particularly Carlos Yerena, Sales Executive very professional, friendly and transparent. Lenin Salazar at the main pool bar is a true ASSET! He served us for 6 days and was always welcoming, efficient, and working harder than anyone else! He deserves a promotion! Housekeeping keeps things pristine!Beautiful lobby and well designed pools and Cabanas. The beach is gorgeous! We found 10 sand dollars the first day! The water is clear and calm. I was going to give 4- stars but the staff truly made a difference. We actually purchased the timeshare, it made sense to do so and we have no regrets however, if you are selling a 5 -Star product but your “model” is a 4 star “nickel and dime” resort…..I think you are doing yourself a disservice. I understand you can’t give all the good away as you are in business to sell a product, but you also cannot create a silo between owners and renters and their vacation experience. You have the location and with just a tiny bit more attention to detail with the Mayan Palace rooms, I feel people will return again and again. We will be back for sure. If you are in the fence, stay, you’ll have a great, relaxing time.
