“Great place to stop off”
Although the hotel is only 3 star, the rooms are large with a modern bathroom. Handily placed just of the motorway but very quiet with no traffic noise. “A group visit of 22 for three nights on a walking holiday”

“Rock hard beds”
We only stayed one night but were happy with the hotel overall. The hotel seemed to have very few guests at the time and service was good even though very few staff were rostered on. Nothing flash, but clean and comfortable, but this time they had a few more small improvements from 2014, such as complementary soap, shampoo etc in the bathroom.
