My friend and I stayed at this lovely farm to accommodate our horseback riding at sicily horse tours. This place is right out of the picturesque guide books. Your little fantasy getaway of peace and tranquility. We arranged a ride from the train station in cefalu with Nichola who runs the place. And cooks. And serves. With his lovely wife. And the ambiance is complete with two or three big dogs snoozing on the cool tile floor under the shady pergola. Tables are set for breakfast and dinner with white clothes and fully served with all courses for dinner. Best food ever. Families, children, couples, all we’re enjoying the serenity of this place. There is a lovely pool to enjoy sunsets! Our room was in the old stable with rock walls. Just lovely. Everything was blissful for us especially after traveling on trains and hauling bags from one place to another. If you’re looking for perfect respite this is your place!

“Horse riding”

My wife and daughter had their first riding lesson here. I went with Luciano for a 3 hour ride in the hills. Horses were very good and relaxed. “A week in the hills”

My friend and I stayed here as part of a week long horse riding tour. The rustic buildings are nestled in a scenic part of Sicily where you can see vineyards on the next hill and the sea in the distance. The wisteria growing around the terrace and wine barrels dotted along made it feel warm and comfortable. Nico was hilarious and a very gracious host. We made the most of the swimming pool on the hot days. However, there are a few things that need to be improved. We stayed in a 2 bed room with ensuite. There was no air-conditioning and no fan in our room, which meant we tried leaving the door open one evening and got eaten by the determined local mosquitoes as there were no fly screens. I was bitten twice by one of the German Shepherds which was very alarming. We loved the food and felt very welcome and at home, so it certainly wasn't an unpleasant trip. When there is air-conditioning and fly screens I will be the first to give it an excellent review. Until then, enjoy the rustic qualities, the beautiful scenery and the welcoming atmosphere.
