“3 consecutive years and still a wonderful hotel”

This is the 3rd time consecutively at this family run hotel. We stayed for 10 nights, and it was perfect. From mangerment to housekeeping it was professional. The food was that of a 5 star hotel, even though it's a 3 star. It annoys me when people go abroad and want food from home. If so stay at home. You go to Kos,you expect to eat Greek food. My wife and I are both gluten free and the chefs and restaurant manager made sure they was an array of different and tasty food, again which was of the standard of a 5 star. The friendliness of all staff was wonderful, considering they have all been working for 6 months straight, in 30° plus heat and were very tired, yet their heart to serve and make sure everyone has a nice time. The staff were amazing. Rooms were cleaned everyday to a very high standard. We will be back again next year, and will always tell others about this beautiful, friendly, well run and homely hotel. See you next year.

Firstly I have got to say there are some fairly harsh reviews of this hotel over the last month and a lot of it is very over the top and exaggerated. This was our first time to the hotel and also to Kos, We were a couple with a little boy who is not 2 until later this month. The only thing I agree on with the past few negative reviews in the past month or somis the sunbeds could do with changing. We arrived mid day on Wednesday 2nd Oct, and were greeted by 2 very friendly receptionists who were extremely welcoming, helpful and told us where the Room was. The room was on ground level which was a god send with a toddler who loves to climb, took the pressure and worry away of a balcony, it was in the newer section of the hotel as well. The room was immaculately presented, clean, tidy and plenty big enough for the 3 of us and even had a cot in the room ready to go for us. There were a couple of tiny niggles but they were so tiny not even worth mentioning. Don't forget it is a 3 Star hotel, Not 4 Not 5 but a 3.. don't expect to pay for a 3 Star and get the facilities and rooms of anything more. We as a family are happy with a clean and tidy functioning room and this is exactly what you get at this hotel. TV in room ( doesn't get UK TV channels other than the BBC News world. ) Our room was cleaned every other day, beds made, bins changed, things wiped down, clean towels, we expect nothing more as a family and was still more than expected. Only thing I would have liked would have been a kettle in the room but understand why they are not in the rooms after working in a hotel in Turkey. The cleaners were amazing, polite, very good, respectful, and fantastic with our little boy. I would give them 10 Stars out of 5. Entertainment: not much for the younger kids but plenty going on, the entertainment team never seemed to stop and were really friendly, never pushed you into getting involved with the games and the things going on through the whole day and night like other hotels we have been too. Evening entertainment was great, we had some really really good nights, Live singers, circus show, quizzes, and plenty more. Again 10 Stars out of 5 for effort. Staff: All the staff from bottom to top deserve 10 Stars + out of 5, never met or spoke to a single rude person at the hotel who did not want to help when needed, polite, helpful and all fantastic with our little boy. Special shout out to Maria and Donna the bar manager... The reviews that mention some of the staff I would honestly say they were probably responding to the way they were being spoken too because we honestly never came across a single rude person in the hotel or wherever we went on the island. Remember we are in October, the staff have been working a minimum of 6 days a week at the hotel and 2nd jobs also in nearly 40 degree heat for most of the season, they are entitled to have an off day if anyone has encountered something they thought was a bit off, paying customers or not...NO one can tell me they never have an off day with their job when working back home. Donna the bar manager may come across a little bit abrupt but she is far from that, it's just her accent when she speaks, she is great, a good laugh and great at her job and will help wherever she can, a great asset to the hotel. Food and Drink: Every day a fantastic selection of all different, foods, live cooking, fruits, cheeses, hams salads, breads, breakfasts, something for everyone and great quality, it is a 3 Star Hotel all inclusive and exceeds most higher star hotels we have been too. Staff were great in the eating area as well. Snacks are also available for a couple of hours between 2 & 4 ( just small Hot dogs and small Burgers ) just enough to fill a gap before dinner. Drinks were plenty, all local alcohol, don't be going expecting jack Daniels, Smirnoff Vodka and so on, it's a 3 star All inclusive hotel. There are plenty of choices, they are not watered down, just local spirits, and the beer is really nice to and even do cocktails ( including frozen ones ) soft drinks available 24/7, tea and coffee available 24/7 and the bar opens 11am - 11pm. How people have said they are just after your money is beyond me because you could stay 2 weeks at this hotel and not spend a penny on food or drink if you wanted to too. Location: Hotel is about a 35 min leisurely stroll into Kos Town or a taxi into Kos town was around €9.00 If you pre booked a taxi then there was a €4 charge for pre booking the night before ready for the morning. Overall we loved our stay at this hotel, well worthy of its 3 Stars, the Staff are amazing, the hotel is super clean and worth every penny. I highly doubt you will regret it. We are booking again later this week to go back to the same hotel next year but for 10 nights instead of 7. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From us.. “Average - food disappointing”

Spent a week here first week of October 2024. Room in main building was small but as there are only the two of us this wasn't a massive issue. Bathroom sometimes gave a smell of drains. Pool area good, sunbeds could do with replacing broken ones. location 40 mins walk from centre of Kos, sometimes we got electric scooters (hopp) or you can hire pedal bikes from reception. Beach nearby but we didn't go, can walk in the sea over the road which we ventured to instead. Mini golf over the road €7 per person. Not a lot nearby other than restaurants and supermarkets. The on site shop was cheaper than most others we found. The main thing that let this hotel down for us was the food. There wasn't a great deal of choice/selection, we didn't go hungry and aware all inclusive tends to be the same abroad however we have been to two TUI Suneo hotels before (in Lanzarote and Tenerife) where there was ample choice and and a kids corner however at Niriides we didn't feel the restaurant reflected the same so this was disappointing for us. The snacks at the snack bar of ice cream, toasties, hot dogs and burgers were disappointing - didn't try the toasties but hot dogs and burgers were weird and not enjoyable. We didn't mind the cats and chicken around the hotel but aware some people were less keen. Drinks are measured rather than free pouring so weren't strong - slushes/frozen daiquiri probably were the highlight for us in the warm weather. Entertainment was poor compared to other entertainment from previous TUI Suneo hotels, nothing for kids on site e.g. a park apart from the mini disco before evening entertainment starts. We don't tend to visit the same place twice when we book holidays but we also wouldn't return to Niriides because of the food letting things down.
