After a 24 hour journey, from tropical country to a full day tour in cold winter Beijing, a nice warm room and hot bath felt like a paradise. This hotel room gave us a very great impression. I checked in in a slightly larger room in the corner. this room have a computer inside, large bathroom, and large hot tub. the only thing that i wasnt expected was the bed. it was hard. later i found that many hotels in cina using this type of bed. maybe chinese just like it. The warmer are very good, bringing warm air into the room and also they got warmer inside the bathroom which make it nicer. If you're not on tour or travelling by yourself, then this hotel was not strategically located. it was near an MTR station though, but still, nowhere to go within walking distance.

The hotel is on the outskirts of the city centre, close to the airport. It's easy to access via the subway and is close to a nice mall. However, although the room was nice, the air-conditioning broke and the toilet wouldn't flush. But, the breakfast was good, provided you're acquainted to what Chinese people have for breakfast. It's a good spread with a variety of different meat/vegetable dishes, congees, steamed bread etc.

It's a funny name for sure-Im sure the translation makes more sense in Chinese. It's a 4 star hotel on "Beijing" standards. Do not compare this hotel with a 4 star hotel in the US or Canada! It's a funny name for sure-Im sure the translation makes more sense in Chinese. It's a 4 star hotel on "Beijing" standards. Do not compare this hotel with a 4 star hotel in the US or Canada! The rooms are a good size, the beds firm, but the bathrooms... Our toilet was broken and kept running all night long, the shower head above doesn't work but the hand held shower works. We weren't able to physically change the temperature of the room either so we froze for a few nights. When we left a note with housekeeping to up the temperature in our room, we were given a note to "blanket in closet because rain yesterday make Beijing cold". Cute when I think back on it.
