If you are looking for a relaxing location this is the place to be. The studios are right on the water's edge and the views of Assos bay are spectacular. To the left is the fortress where you can spend a morning exploring and enjoying the wonderful panorama. We have found the studios to be well kept, very clean and well serviced. Sunvil provide a welcome pack which is much appreciated. Close to 3 lovely tavernas and a cafe/bar - we enjoyed all of them! You can swim straight from the studio but would recommend beach shoes for the stones. A very enjoyable, wonderful week and sad to go back to the UK. Would definitely come back.

This review is for Apollonia Studios (not apartment), there are four right on the water's edge. In 2017 they seemed to be exclusive to Sunvil, who we booked through. The apartment is above the studios and does not seem to be offered by any UK travel company, but presumably booked direct via the owners Nick & Vicky Menegatos. The studio was a decent size, very clean, with twin beds, bedside cabinets, a dressing table & two director's chairs, enough storage for 'summer clothes' with a safe at the back of the cupboard. Aircon and ceiling fan to keep you cool. Separate shower room at the back. Plenty of hot water and at high pressure - careful as you turn the shower on it can sting if it hits in the wrong parts! A 2 ring hob, plus kettle and toaster for light meals, plus fridge - we did use the hob once for delicious tomatoes on toast for one breakfast. There's a table and two dining chairs for eating inside, but the terrace out front is a much better place to be! The terrace was in the shade and with temperatures of over 35C this is where we spent most of the week.Even under an umbrella it was too hot out on the beach. There were two rattan style patio chairs, with comfortable cushions, and with a wonderful view through the arch across the bay we copuld't have wished for a more relaxing place to be. A few steps down from the studio was a ledge where we could get in the sea onto a shingle beach (the main beach was quite pebbly). This was just below our front door, so we didn't even bother locking up. A couple of minutes away along the beach was a cafe, ideal for breakfast or lunch and few steps further Platanos and Anait tavernas. There was a third Molos on the far jetty, but we never seemed to get that far, they were all pretty busy so if we spotted a table in the first two we dived in. Assos also had 2 mini markets a recently added ATM, and a couple of souvenir / beach shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and teh only problem is it's raised the bar for our next break - maybe we'll just have to come back!

After being there for two weeks we really felt part of this magic place , a sort of unique old fisherman village built on a isthmus facing on the crystalline water of the port ; the location is fantastic as this is the most beautiful house on the gulf , and the flat faces right on it , down the stairs you are on the beach : better than this we could not have . Vicky and Nick are more than perfect hosts , and they are very helpful in any occasion . The well organized maid service once or twice a week included in the price, is the cherry on the cake of the facilities ..This place will remain into our hearts, and we will recommend it to our best friends .. Si te gusta estar cerca del mar, entonces este es el apartamento para usted! tiene dos habitaciones dobles y una habitación muy pequeña individual con todo en la misma planta. La cocina está bien equipada y espaciosa con una mesa de comedor interior. También hay un lado defraudaron comedor bajo un Vine pero por desgracia sin la impresionante vista de la bahía. El pueblo de Assos es encantador, con muchos excelentes tabernas y bares para sentarse y empaparse del ambiente de este acogedor y hermoso lugar. La piscina es segura, con agua cristalina y maravillosamente bien snorkeling. Por desgracia la playita es de piedras pero encantador mirar con parasoles y hamacas para alquilar a un precio razonable. En este apartamento apenas necesita estar en la playa ya que hay pasos directamente al borde del agua donde se puede entrar en el agua cálida y nadar por la bahía a pequeñas bahías desiertas con cuevas sombríos y piscinas de roca. El balcón en el apartamento tiene las vistas más maravillosas y aunque pequeña, es un gran lugar sombreado para refugiarse durante el calor del día. También es perfecto para una bebida por la noche antes de escoger su lugar una taberna para la cena!
