“Very good value for money, central location”

Apart hotel centrally located. Clean and secure. Good apartment facilities, value for money. Very basic breakfast but apartment location worth it. Would recommend to friends.

We have just returned from a short trip to Prague. Our flight was a late one and didn't arrive at the hotel until after 10pm. My first impressions of the hotel when we first arrived from the outside was how bland it looked. The reception was closed, a number to contact and a notice saying closed after 7pm was displayed. After we got in the buliding, the entrance was somewhat shabby & outdated plus the lifts were very small. However we were pleasantly surprised how clean and tidy the room was. The toilet / shower was relatively small but clean. The breakfast was very basic, all self service however the staff were polite. The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the heart of the Jewish quarters and very close to all the poular tourist spots. Right across the road is Mannis mini-market, good for the essential items as the room was equipped with a fridge. For a small extra charge the use of safe was possible. This hotel is definately value for money considering the location.

I stayed two nights at the Pension 2000 last week. As I travelled alone (young female), I always book a hotel that is central. And the location of the Pension is great. Three minutes walk from the airport-bus. The room was also nice, large and clean. But, TV didn't work (I don't travel to watch TV, but, don't want to stay out late when I am alone), and when I tried to inform the reception of this, I found out it didn't open until 14. So I wrote a note, that I received no answer to. And at "check-out", nobody was there, I just had to leave my key and suitcase, and hoped that it would be safe. At breakfast, there were neither glasses, cups or cheese, and when I asked for it, the waitress just looked at me. So I had to drink my juice and coffee out of a small bowl... And since breakfast was mainly toast and cheese, I ended up eating toast... Not much of a breakfast. To conclude: Location and rooms are great, staff are a bit impolite or maybe they just don't care. Will not stay there the next time.

We arrived here in the afternoon, after the hotel we had booked had double booked our group of 11 so were very sceptical about this place. Once checked in we went up to the apartments, which were large and comfortable but felt a little like student accommodation and were not up to normal hotel standards at all. There are no amenities in the hotel. But the beds were comfortable, the showers were good although the kitchen facilities were poor. The location was quiet, despite being very central. The apartments were all very different - one of the three was much larger and had a television and sofas in a very big lounge which overlooked the street below. Location was fantastic - very close to the centre and there is a mini market across the road. There is no need to use the expensive taxis when staying here. But considering the high price and the general low budget feel of this place I would go elsewhere next time I go to Prague, if ever. There were no real problems with the accommodation, but I would describe it as adequate, although at a fairly high price. Considering the price I paid I was expecting a proper hotel with at least a bar/restaurant and hopefully some kind of gym or pool but not here.
