“Comfortable Hotel”

We stayed in this hotel from 18th-22nd November. I would like to say that the hotel was really comfortable with lovely staff. Our room was kept clean and fresh by some lovely ladies. The always had smiles and greetings for us. The hotel is in a good area for sightseeing and transport. Easy walking to all the main squares. Good things to do are : The number 42 trams. Get a day ticket and hop on and off. Visit the castle and cathedral within. Go on a river cruise. We went on the Devils canal boat. Its small and takes you on small tributaries within the river. All in all a very nice visit to Prague

So happy we chose this hotel , arrived and straight given our room, fantastic great room big bed ,nice extras , nail file ear buds ect and a hair bobble , come on ladies how many times have you come on holiday and thought I have forgotten a hair bobble and got annoyed but they have thought of everything, fridge in room, , good quality toilet roll and plenty of it , good air con , very quiet rooms and halls and halls , brilliant breakfast, something for everyone.safe area and wonderful location .all staff very friendly and helpful

“Comfortable hotel”

The Grand Majestic is in a good location just 10 mins walk to all the major attractions, and 5 minutes walk to the small but fascinating Communist Museum, which we came across accidentally. The Grand Majestic is in a good location just 10 mins walk to all the major attractions, and 5 minutes walk to the small but fascinating Communist Museum, which we came across accidentally. We found the hotel itself clean and comfortable and all the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was lovely with plenty of choice and a 'chef's kitchen corner' where you could request freshly made omlettes with a filling of choice or fried eggs etc. The restaurant staff were very attentive and as a nice touch we were welcomed into the dining room with a glass of fizz each morning. One morning there was a piano accompaniment which was nice. The hotel decor is quite dark and our room felt a little tired/dated, although the bathroom was newly tiled and spotlessly clean and the shower over the bath was powerful and perfectly hot. The hotel temperature was kept nice and warm, which was lovely coming in from the cold, and in our room the ac fan was a little noisy but the temperature was perfect for a comfortable night's sleep. The hotel was quiet and our bed was huge and comfortable with spotless white bedding. Room service attended every day. The pillows were very soft so I requested an extra one which was provided immediately. Overall, it was a lovely stay - Prague is a fairytale city - and I would rate this hotel as 3.5 star. It was significantly let down by a large plastic plant display in the reception and would, if I may, suggest this potentially lovely area be re-thought through and re-designed.

“Good value”

OK Hotel a couple of mins walk from Namesti Republica and the Paladium shopping centre and easy to walk everywhere. Room was OK, carpet needs a good clean or at least hoovered now and again ( not done during our 4 days ) reception staff very formal, bar staff lovely ( especially the guy from Cuba) … more

OK Hotel a couple of mins walk from Namesti Republica and the Paladium shopping centre and easy to walk everywhere. Room was OK, carpet needs a good clean or at least hoovered now and again ( not done during our 4 days ) reception staff very formal, bar staff lovely ( especially the guy from Cuba) cocktail happy hour 1-6pm every day. Ate in the restuarant 1st night for convenience good OK Czech Red Wine excellent, there's a steakhouse 5 mins walk away turn right when exiting the lobby that was much better and less expensive. Breakfast was OK, cereal, toast and coffee didn't care for the cooked options but plenty of fresh fruit available. All in all good value for money.
