“Nice place, on site restaurant.”

When looking for a hotel I am only looking for a good lace to sleep. So a clean room with a comfortable bed is most important. When looking for a hotel I am only looking for a good lace to sleep. So a clean room with a comfortable bed is most important. I don’t need all the things that lead to higher cost that if course lead to higher prices. Our stay was warm and comfortable so there is nothing to complain about. I would have no issues returning. There is an on site restaurant opens for breakfast. There is a mall and several other restaurants nearby. With all that in mind it is a great place to stop.

“Nice Than Expected”

Room was clean and modern inside. Instead of a bathtub, there was a large glass-enclosed shower-- very nice. Each room as a refrigerator, microwave and single-serve coffee pot. There is a restaurant in premises. Breakfast is not included. Easy on/off the TCH. Fast food and casual dining nearby.

We sought out this hotel for the promise of city / water views, and this was the only minor disappoint, as the view was partially blocked by the wing of the hotel that houses the restaurant. Otherwise we really like the spacious, clean room with its modern decor and conveniences (lots of plugins, good a/c microwave, fridge, coffeemaker etc). The bed was comfortable. We did notice that the fluffy clean towels were a little dingy grey in colour, likely due to the aesthetic water quality in general, which is common in Newfoundland. We did enjoy the well-run onsite restaurant which has the great views the rooms don't get. Great food there. Relatively close both to the highway and downtown, but still very quiet. The best views are on the top (third) floor, BUT there are no elevators to it. One enters the building lobby on the second floor, so it's only one floor to walk up with your bags. Staff were accommodating in switching rooms when we asked about getting a slightly better view.

Beds and rooms were comfortable, staff friendly. Found it a little pricier for time of year than I expected. Room was set to about 75 when I got in, way too warm but heating/cooling worked well. Wifi was okay but not what I would consider fast but does the job. Ate breakfast in the restau… more

Beds and rooms were comfortable, staff friendly. Found it a little pricier for time of year than I expected. Room was set to about 75 when I got in, way too warm but heating/cooling worked well. Wifi was okay but not what I would consider fast but does the job. Ate breakfast in the restaurant, the only pet peeve I had was that I was not offered a coffee refill.
