Absolutely stunning place to be! Immaculately clean apartment. We had room number 3 and I was literally stunned how good it was! Spacious, quiet modern room with everything you need. Cute small kitchen with microwave and fridge freezer to keep our drinks icy cold. Decent size swimming pool with a lovely bar. Plenty of sunbeds for everyone whenever you need them. Absolutely breathtaking views overlooking Puerto Rico. Plenty of things to see and do. Definitely will come back again at some point. Thank you 😊

“Can't fault it”

Smashing place can't fault it ...does what it says on the tin no races for sunbeds really clean ..the cleaners are out on 5 days over 7 nice wee bar in it fir cold drink and also has a shop to supply you with everything you need the wee bar dies nice food the half roast chicken and chips … more

Smashing place can't fault it ...does what it says on the tin no races for sunbeds really clean ..the cleaners are out on 5 days over 7 nice wee bar in it fir cold drink and also has a shop to supply you with everything you need the wee bar dies nice food the half roast chicken and chips was lovely ..its a 10 minute walk down hill to the commercial centre or a 20 minute walk up to the europa centre but it was always a taxi back 5 euros lovely place and met some lovely people in it we will definitely be back

“Love this Apartment complex”

As a family we arrived with no real expectation for this complex. It proved to be a proper gem. As a family we arrived with no real expectation for this complex. It proved to be a proper gem. Rooms are basic but have what you need for self catering, with the very big added bonus of air conditioning! Comfy beds with a couch which doubles as an extra bed. Clean bathroom, with super powerful shower and kitchen has most things for basic meals. Fridge could be slightly bigger and updated but that’s a minor point. The complex is over 5 levels, street level is -2, your key card opens a gate and lifts or stairs take you up to reception which is level 0. The complex is clean and well kept, mainly due to the hard work of the staff. The reception is open around 12pm but a phone is available to call them if you need assistance 24 hours a day. There is a shop (next to reception) which opens for a good few hours a day, handy for drinks and snacks, other items are premium prices (use local supermarkets they are cheaper!) The cafe bar by the pool is fantastic with great staff running it! The two gents working on a daily basis are a credit to the place! The gent with glasses runs Happy hour!! (15:30-16:30.) always laughing and friendly and the gent (Arriberto?) who works from about 5pm is amazing and always smiling and making conversation. The food is all freshly cooked and tasty, which is great if you are having a pool day. There are plenty of sun beds around, reserving them is not allowed, however many people do! The pool is small in size and not extremely deep, but ok for a cooling dip during the day. Showers and toilets are on the pool area, as well as a pool table (€1 a game.) The cleaning staff work 5 days a week very hard. Credit goes to them for making the place so clean and tidy, they always come across friendly and cheerful. Reception staff are fantastic especially the older man with grey hair (who lives in Telde - don’t take the number 1 bus!!! Always use the 91!!) he was always friendly, happy and making conversation (aswell as teaching me a bit more Spanish!) I’m sorry we didn’t catch his name, although I vaguely recall it may have been George. Lovely town Puerto Rico and great base at the Rocamar. Won’t hopefully be too long before we return. “Great views but prepare to walk ( or taxi) ALOT”

I gave this hotel 4 stars mostly due to my first night. I had booked a last minute package with Tui for 3 nights. My last day had a very late flight. After arriving later than expected due to a flight delay, I was dropped on the road and the hotel entrance is by key card. After working out which entrance was actually the Rocomar I buzzed to come in. The hotel was very quiet with everything including reception closed. A man met me, gave me a card and Wi-Fi code and said " number 3" . I had no way of knowing what room that was. He grudgingly showed me when I looked lost. There was no information pack as you'd normally get re facilities, map, bin info etc. No help with what might be open now. Luckily I was tired and there was some great music audible from town so I had a few glasses of wine and enjoyed the balmy night on my terrace. Positives. Room 3 is brilliantly located. Pool level, nice terrace and close to the lift. There was a big bottle of water and bottle of red wine in the room. Very welcome. The room is spacious and beds are big singles. Nice powerful shower. All very clean. Fridge works well. Fantastic views. Helena on reception was super helpful as was a different man who seemed to be a manager. It's straight downhill ( lots of steps)to a the nightlife and shops. Beach is 15 mins walk from there. Pool is great. Big enough and just deep enough. Pool bar does a very popular happy hour 3.30-4.30. Shop next to reception has everything including fresh bread. Saves lugging water up the hill. Check out is 12pm but they are happy for you to stay. Towels are available in a nice big curtesy shower/ toilet room for late travellers. Negatives It's not close to anything else. If you want to eat it's the hotel or go into town. Rooms aren't very soundproof. The hotel doesn't tell you anything. For example the bar closes at 5pm on Sundays but the sign is in the bar itself, on the Sunday. So if you planned to eat in and hadn't been in that day you'd never know. Reception opens at 12pm so if need anything before then forget it. The hotel has lovely chatty guests many of whom are repeat visitors . It's very easy to stay as a solo traveller as everyone is friendly. The last weekend in September hosts an annual Irish Festival in town ( big Irish bar). You can hear the live music. Whether you want to or not. :)
