My wife & I, along with my sister, my brother-in-law, and their daughter all stayed at this Residence Inn back on March 23rd to March 30th, 2024. This was our group’s first time in Washington, D.C. and staying at this hotel was great! Its location is quite ideal since it’s only a block away from the Metro subway station. Taking the subway was the quickest and most convenient method to get to the National Mall area (where all the museums and monuments are located) The room itself was very spacious and comfortable for our entire group. We definitely appreciated the fact that we had a full refrigerator, stovetop, and microwave in the room. The breakfast buffet every morning was a delight and very enjoyable overall. It was great that we didn’t have to head outside in the morning to look for a breakfast place to eat at. Overall, we would definitely stay here again when visiting DC (or recommend others to stay here, too).

“Good customer service”

Great front desk service. Had a little blip on our trip and front desk attendant and manager worked with me to the rectify. Very nice and customer service focused. Breakfast was nice, good location. Enjoyed my run out and back to Lincoln Memorial.

Excellent location, a block and a half from the metro, and a long but doable walk to the National Mall. Restaurants and grocery stores close by. It's an older building but looks nice and welcoming. Excellent location, a block and a half from the metro, and a long but doable walk to the National Mall. Restaurants and grocery stores close by. It's an older building but looks nice and welcoming. The only problem was that only one elevator was working so it was slow going and we took the stairs most of the time. They had to wait for parts, so nothing they could do about it. Room and everything in it was clean and comfortable. The kitchenette had all necessary stuff and a full size fridge. Only the sofa bed was not very comfortable. You could feel the coils a bit, but we managed to get a full night sleep every night. Breakfast was excellent, good variety of foods although pretty much the same every day. Breads and pastries were varied and there was plenty of everything. The attendants were quick to pick up and clean, and very friendly. My only objection is that they should have enough staff to have the rooms completely ready for all guests. We found out that if you're using the sofa bed, they don't get it ready for you, you have to do it yourself. That's my reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Everyone, from front desk to housekeeping, was very friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile to make you feel acknowledged and appreciated for staying at their property. If I ever go back to DC, I would definitely stay at this hotel.

“Great location!”

We stayed for 7 nights last month. Two adults, one tween and one teen. The 2 queen suite was just the right size for us. Room was clean and well stocked. We did have an issue with the dishwasher. We stayed for 7 nights last month. Two adults, one tween and one teen. The 2 queen suite was just the right size for us. Room was clean and well stocked. We did have an issue with the dishwasher. We called the desk and Nigel from maintenance came right away. It turned out to be a lengthy job but Nigel was professional and got it done! Location was excellent. Metro stop is just a two minute walk. Breakfast can get crowded so get there early. Food was always hot and well stocked. Breakfast staff was also very friendly and helpful. Eric and Paul at the front desk got us checked in quickly and always greeted us as we came and went throughout our stay. We will definitely stay here again when visiting DC.
