We normally stay at the Double Tree downtown Tulsa, this time we wanted to stay closer to the activities we had planned. I was more than surprised with our experience at this Double Tree. (After booking I read the reviews and I was a little iffy as to whether or not this was a place I wanted to stay.) I will say we checked in early Kaylee at the front desk was more than accommodating and so lovely! She had plenty of recommendations on where to eat and even asked if our evening plans and gave us recommendations for that as well. We did eat at Pub W’s because of her and the food was excellent! She was always pleasant and smiling when we’re in the lobby and a joy to talk to. I did mention to her that a few reviews about the garage gate not working or being hard to operate, she showed us how to do it and the gate worked like a charm. We really enjoyed our nice cool room with comfortable beds after such a hot day seeing the sights near our hotel, there is a nice walking path and also a park down the street. The water pressure in our shower was superb! Best shower I’ve ever had at a hotel! In the evening when the staff changed we had the pleasure of meeting Reese at the front deck and he was super friendly and helpful as well. This was by far the best hotel experience I’ve had at any Hilton property. The property was clean, the pool is huge, the hot tub is nice, our room was beautiful and the lobby and common areas were all very well kept. I will definitely be staying here when in Tulsa.

Pros Area is absolutely beautiful. Request a room on the even side. The water pressure in the shower is AMAZING Room service food is great definitely try the ranch wrap and the spaghetti. Pool and hot tub are are great Laundry room for guest by pool Hotel store area has lots of useful stuff Starbucks in the hotel Restaurant on site Cons Fridge is in a cabinet which makes it not work great You pretty much have to lay on the floor to use microwave. There is a spot in the room for a microwave/fridge cabinet but it's just bare space now The lady in the breakfast area complains like crazy and makes you feel like an inconvenience They don't maintain the back gate area to be able to walk to the little creek area. No chairs in the back outside area off the pool Hotel store prices are ridiculous Definitely some housekeeping issues. Nasty curtains, walls and carpet in room Trash cans in the room. Already a huge pet peeve (I bring trash bags!) Tiny can with a sections for trash and recycling. You can't even fit a coke can in it Dogs barking crying and scratching on doors If you use 40 oz tumblers...much easier to wash in the shower! Breakfast has pretty good options but most days the food was cold and not much flavor. I loved they had sugar free syrup though!
