“Great hotel for families”

Overall a great experience The breakfasts were varied and delicious and Friday night was excellent. One of us was vegan and there was plenty of options. The kids club was great. I took 4 four rooms for four nights for our family holiday The family rooms were large and the regular rooms were fine. However I have 2 comments One of the family rooms only had a pull out bed in the second bedroom and not a proper double bed. It was fine for us as 2 small kids slept on it but any older kids may find it uncomfortable. In addition one night the music from the neighboring hotel was so loud it was impossible to sleep until past one in the morning. All the people on my floor and above complained to reception and the police but it didn’t help.

The hotel is full of contrasts. The food is awesome and fresh, but the wait for breakfast to be seated is 10-20 minutes (this is a hotel, not a restaurant, and it is breakfast). The hotel is full of contrasts. The food is awesome and fresh, but the wait for breakfast to be seated is 10-20 minutes (this is a hotel, not a restaurant, and it is breakfast). And the placements set by default are sometimes dirty, and you need to explicitly ask for a clean placement. The rooms are excellent, clean and have good noise cancellation. But for that purpose the entryway is just barely wide enough for a baby stroller, in a family room. And the main door is a blast door, inconvenient. Kids club doesn't open on time. When we had an issue with the interconnected doors between the room units it took about 40 minutes to get a response. Maid service and logistics (baby cot, baby bath) are excellent. Some staff members barely speak Hebrew and English, and that's also inconvenient.

Having traveled widely and stayed in many hotels : boutique, large , cruise ship and specialized, here is my review of the Agamim in Eilat. The reception desk is helpful and polite . The breakfast options are beautifully presented and varied everyday during our 4 day large families’s stay. The pool Area was ample and fun, though the weather did not cooperate. The children’s room had wonderful programming and activities for my grandchildren. The negative: This hotel was never cleaned properly. Our room had the same dirty refuse on the floor of the bathroom and under the counters . The rug was never swept or vacuumed, the floors were dirty. Soap was never replaced and we had to call for soap. We watched the cleaners as we passed by other rooms and they barely swiped the surfaces. Our surfaces were dusty and had crumbs. I brought my own Lysol wipes. We are Isrotel members and plan on staying in another property of theirs in Eilat next month. We are both hoping for better (cleaner ) .

Nice Facility , staff not friendly I provided bad feedback about paid dinner for vegetarian to a manager in the hotel , no one got back to me Reported to customer service representative on the day after, she promised issue will be handled More than a week passed and no one got back to me. It used to be a good hotel, maybe the war caused degradation of service.
