“Great Family Villa”

Solar were excellent in their organisation and customer service. Although the Rep number in Minorca didn't seem to work. Booking was easy and the transfers where all organised and ran like clockwork. The Villa itself is lovely, modern and well fitted out. Excellent indoor and outdoor dining options with a small BBQ. The villa consists of a large well appointed master bedroom with it's own ensuite plus a safe and the other two rooms are twins. There were ample crockery and pans for us to cook with but we mainly used the BBQ or went out. The villas grounds are fairly small but well designed and looked after. Only issues I had with the Villa are the rock hard beds but from talking to other holiday makers, it might be an island thing because everyone was moaning. The issue was significant enough that two of the nights, half of our group slept out on sun loungers as they were more comfortable. Eventually we bought and slept on slightly deflated air mattress'. Locationwise, the villa is also very good. There are a couple of supermarkets within a 10 minute walk and they sell most of what you'll need between them. Restaurants are found in the harbour which is about a 10 min brisk walk or 20 min saunter. I went in October so unfortunately half the resturaunts had already closed but the ones that hadn't were decent and friendly. I would highly recommend this for a quick family getaway. One week is optimal, I think we would have been bored had we been here two. Really good villa in an excellent location, the only downside for us were the actually mattresses in the villa.
