“Bar service lacking , if you aren’t a local be prepared to wait”

“Wouldn't be my first choice”

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the pool was lovely with pool towels provided, and there was a free airport shuttle. However there were many things that weren't so favourable. The majority of staff were unfriendly and unhelpul. Office hours were limited as too were the restaurant and bar hours. The hairdyer in our room had seen better days and out of our two bath towels one was plush and the other extremely old and thin. It wouldn't take much to improve this accommodation - better customer service (even a smile would help) would be a great start.

This is a quite nice motel to stay in. We had 5 nights here and thought this the ideal place stay so we could see the Kimberley area. However there were some issues. This is a quite nice motel to stay in. We had 5 nights here and thought this the ideal place stay so we could see the Kimberley area. However there were some issues. The room was large and comfortable - we had a garden pool room view with a great king size bed.the room was well appointed with fantastic wifi and a kettle, hair dryer and iron. Plenty of room to relax. The issues we had was the cleaning of the room - under the bed was just horrible with old stuff like tissues and biscuits still there from who knows when. Note that the beds are quite heavy and not on wheels so asking cleaners to check under the bed would be an interesting request. Our bedside lamp was broken - not by us - and when we reported it we were told - this happens a lot. But it never got replaced. As for getting the room clean we were never told to leave the parking area door off the security latch so cleaners could get in so for 2 days we got nothing cleaned or replaced. (We could not ask as we were on a day trip to the Bungle Bungles so reception was closed when we returned). And yet the SAME key allows entry into the room from the garden. We also asked for the garden sliding door to the pool area to be looked at as it was difficult to close and hard to lock, mainly due to loose screws and even one screw missing - repair just didn’t happen. Meals at the restaurant were sort of OK. Expensive and a lack of variety. Breakfast only started just before we left and was smorgasbord and quite nice. The reception only works 9-4 so when you are out and about you cannot get to discuss any issues unless you come back. Apparently there is security checking on room locking but we never heard them nor saw them. The shower is a real issue as water remains on the floor and it becomes slippery with a real possibility of a fall. They are all little things but we expected more considering the room and food charges we were asked to is is NOT a 4 star motel even though they say they have the accreditation.
