Amazing Stay with Great Service and a Fantastic Bar! My experience at the Residence Inn Toronto Downtown/Entertainment District was outstanding. The location is perfect – right in the heart of the Entertainment District, within walking distance to the CN Tower, Rogers Centre, and plenty of restaurants and attractions. It’s the ideal spot for exploring Toronto! The suite was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything I needed. The full kitchen was a big plus, and the living area was very comfortable. After long days of sightseeing, it was great to have such a cozy place to unwind. The bed was super comfortable too! One of the highlights of my stay was the bar in the hotel. It’s a great place to relax in the evening, and the bartender was fantastic! Not only was he incredibly friendly and attentive, but he also mixed some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while. His knowledge of drinks and his ability to recommend something based on my preferences really stood out. It was the perfect way to end the day. The staff throughout the hotel were all very welcoming and helpful, making me feel right at home. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast. It had a great variety of hot and cold options, including eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, and more – perfect for starting the day right. The 24-hour fitness center and indoor pool were also well-maintained and provided a great way to unwind. Overall, the Residence Inn offers everything you could want – spacious suites, excellent service, and a top-notch bar with a wonderful bartender. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Toronto, and I’ll definitely be back!

“Excellent service and spotless room”

We booked a King room for 2 nights. Our room wasn't just clean, it was almost spotless. Our bathroom fan did make a lot of noise when turned on, but other than that, the hotel appears to be very well-maintained. We booked a King room for 2 nights. Our room wasn't just clean, it was almost spotless. Our bathroom fan did make a lot of noise when turned on, but other than that, the hotel appears to be very well-maintained. All the staff we encountered were friendly, especially Parvin and Joanne at the front desk, and Viktoria who cleaned our room, and the Valet/bellhop (sorry, I did not get his name). Hotel appears to be very well managed -- everyone seems to be well-trained in their jobs to provide the best customer service experience for the guests. It was a delight watching the breakfast Host stay busy in making sure everyone who came down for complimentary breakfast has a table and assisting with clearing tables when the dining room was very busy. Several breakfast staff were constantly working to clear the dirty dishes as quickly as they could during the peak breakfast hours. Location is really good -- about 20 minutes walk from Toronto Union station -- exit towards York Street and turn left on Wellington Street, hotel will be on your left. Hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk to the CN Tower/Ripley's Aquarium/Harbourfront Center. Lots of shops, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby. We also went to a new shopping mall, The Well, about 10 minutes walk, west of the hotel to walk around and picked up dinner at their basement food court one evening. We hope to stay at the Residence Inn Toronto Downtown hotel again if we have the chance to come back to Toronto some day. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

“A clean, comfortable gem minutes from the big attractions…”

It had been pre Covid since I’d last stayed. It’s unrecognizable - for the better!! Renovations have made this a “go to” hotel within minutes of the CN Tower and Roger’s Centre. Too many restaurants within a one block radius to mention. Rooms were very clean and comfortable - And the front desk staff are top notch!! The complimentary breakfast is one of the better for this class of hotel. Value for money, this is by far the best I found doing my online comparison at this time of year. All in all, a real gem with terrific staff!!

Our first time in Toronto - indeed, our first time in Canada and this was our first hotel. We walked from Union Station, having caught the train from the airport - an excellent service and to be recommended. We had a king room with a kitchen area. The room was huge and the kitchen a good size including a microwave, dishwasher and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Ideal if you want to self-cater, which we did on a couple of nights. Although the room was rather old-fashioned, it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also pretty good. A few hot dishes and plenty of breads, juices, coffee, fruit, yogurts, cereals etc to set you up for the day. As other reviewers have said, it gets busy after 8am, but we were always up early and always found a table. TV had plenty of channels (although we didn't watch it), and the wifi was good. The hotel is extremely well located in downtown Toronto and in all honesty, if we are lucky enough to visit again, would happily stay here.
