The attached house with a size of 130 m2 is ideal for families and groups of friends who are searching for individual holidays close to the beach and with all important facilities in walking distance. The first bedroom count with 2 single beds, the second one is fitted with 1 double bed. The third one is very spacious and offers 1 double bed and 1 extra bed for a 7th person. There are 2 bathrooms in total, 1 with shower cabin and the second one with a shower cabin. On the roof terrace (1st floor) you will enjoy sunbathing with views over the town up to the sea. To access the private roof terrace, you just would have to go upstairs. It counts with 4 sun loungers, a sunshade and a small table with 3 chairs. The terrace down below and its adjoining porch are furnished and are perfect for having a pleasant breakfast or dinner outside. There is also a mobile BBQ. In the living room with its modern sofa you will pass a pleasant time reading a good book, watching television (satellite TV) or a DVD or just enjoy your free time. The kitchen offers you everything you will need for your holidays: microwave, toaster, dishwasher, electric oven, vitro ceramic hob, refrigerator-freezer and cutlery. Of course there is also a washing machine, an iron and an iron board. Pets are not allowed. The location of the accommodation is perfect because you have everything you may need in walking distance: the sand beach, a big variety of restaurants, snack bars, a pharmacy, a drug store, shops, supermarkets, a taxi rank, a medical center and a bus station. The bus goes every 15 minutes to Alcúdia old town, Puerto de Pollença or other directions like Palma. The fine grained sand beach is only 130 meters away from the apartment; you just have to walk down the street. The beach is perfect for toddlers because the swell is moderate and the beach slopes down gently into the water. In Can Picafort you will find lots of restaurants for every kind of taste; fresh fish, excellent meat, pizza and pasta, tapas and typical Majorcan cuisine. If you feel a bit hungry, the numerous snack bars offer sandwiches, hamburgers and salads. For your coffee or tea break you will find lots of cafeterias on the promenade. There are also lots of shops there; beside shops for clothes, shoes and souvenirs you will easily find big and small supermarkets for grocery shopping. The next big supermarkets are located on the main road direction Puerto de Alcúdia or the other side to Son Serra de Marina. You will find also 2 gas stations there. Walking along the sea promenade you will reach the zone of Son Bauló with its adjoining natural zone. It is a natural beach area with rocks and plants which is protected by the dunes at the backside. This zone is perfect for long strolls along the beach. If you like to walk, you could visit the ruins of an old cemetery (Necrópolis), which is located directly in front of the sea. Following the path by the beach, you could go to “Son Real” a public farm with different animals. The spot is amazing, surrounded by the dunes and the pine woods. This could be a nice idea for a half-day trip. It lasts about 2 hours to get from Son Bauló to Son Real. By car or bus you could easily reach other nice beach areas like Playa de Muro, Playa de Formentor, Son Serra de Marina, Alcúdia old town, Puerto de Alcúdia or Puerto de Pollença. The old town of Alcúdia with its little cobbled streets is a must see. Visit the old squares, the church and the town walls where you can also walk around the top of the old town. Lots of small bars and good restaurants invite you to stop off for a coffee or a snack and take it all in. On Tuesday and Sunday there is market day in Alcúdia and the town turns into a busy place with lots of people. Don’t forget to visit the Roman Ruins including a villa, a bull-ring and an amphitheatre. This house offers a home away from home, in one of the nicest and most visited zones of Mallorca.
