There are bus lines which connect the station and surrounding area to the airport (280 JPY). - This hotel is in the east side of Kamata JR station. Bus stops are also located in the east side, so it is a plus. There are many places to eat and shop around the station. - All functions of my room worked very well. I noticed a laundry room in the hotel, which can be very useful. - To Tokyo, it is actually not far from the east side, such as Tokyo, Shinagawa, and Akihabara. Basically, anywhere Keihin-Tohoku line stops. To get the west side, such as Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro, you need to make a transfer to Yamanote line or Chuo line. It also takes more time.

Fresa Inn Kamata has everything to offer that a business travel needs. Staff is Professional and very helpful, being a non Japanese speaker I did not face any problem while getting my queries resolved. Location of this hotel is fantastic as it has markets, bars, restaurants, convenience stores and almost everything that you need around in the vicinity. Metro station is just at walking distance with a full fledged market and shops.

Just had my second stay at Fresa Inn Kamata. This time the room was on the upper floor where you could see the 'Skytree' when the sky was clear. (Very tiny though but good enough to make my day). Just had my second stay at Fresa Inn Kamata. This time the room was on the upper floor where you could see the 'Skytree' when the sky was clear. (Very tiny though but good enough to make my day). Would love to stay there again because of the good location, just 3 minutes walk from Kamata Station and there were a lot of shops, eateries and cafes nearby. Highly recommended.

I'm 1.75m, not tall at all and yet the toilet seat with bidet was way too small for me to use properly, tried sitting further back but no use, did not help at all. I'm 1.75m, not tall at all and yet the toilet seat with bidet was way too small for me to use properly, tried sitting further back but no use, did not help at all. Though convenient as the hotel is only a 5min walk from the station, coming back at night can be a hassle with the large number of aggressive restaurants and bar touts smoking along the entire way from the station to the hotel. As you approach the hotel, they are a few more girls from the massage parlours and bars facing the hotel, soliciting for business. Generally not a nice area to be staying in. Because the hotel allows smoking in some rooms, you do get a stale smoking smell on the non smoking floors and rooms. Not enough is being done to remove the smoking smell.
