“Tribute to a beautiful hotel”

I had the pleasure of working at Maligne Lodge in the summer of 2001. This was a beautiful hotel and I am heartbroken learning of the tragedy the recent fires have caused. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the residents of Jasper. #JasperStrong

Our family had a pleasant stay at Maligne Lodge. The room was clean. Beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make your own meal. My daughter enjoyed the pool as well. The staff are awesome which I think is a reflection of how good the Management is. It is conveniently located in the town of Jasper with a beautiful view of the mountain. Thanks Maligne Lodge for being part of our Jasper trip. We will always remember you as one of the best hotels we ever stayed in! ❤️

“A joyful stay”

Maligne Lodge is located at the most tranquil and bucolic area of Jasper. The lodge faces the beautiful Rockies. So, if you wish to have a room with the gorgeous view, please mention your preference while booking your room. My husband and I stayed there for a night. We couldn’t spend a lot of time in the room as we had a lot to cover in a day, and we were short of time. But if you are staying at the lodge for a long and leisurely time, THIS IS THE BEST PLACE FOR YOU. The room is super clean and the bed is so comfy that the moment I lied down on it, it felt just like my home mattress. It doesn’t end there, the products they provide such as shampoo, conditioner and the lotion, when used, seemed to be of high quality. They provide all kinds of services in room such as ironing board, mini fridge, coffee and tea station, and even a simple kettle to warm the water. The women at reception were too genial and kind. We went to an early morning swim at the Edith lake, and we’re running late to check out the same day. I called at the reception to request for a few extra minutes to check out. The lady at the reception was kind enough to give us an extra hour. I think, depending on the room availability, they will be generous enough to lend you some time to check out and will do the best they can. There is a good cafe right under the same roof as the lodge, named “the wicked cafe”. The cafe too has great ambience and good food to have. It is a place to sit and relax while you sip in the hot coffee with a great view and breathe in the cool weather. For us, it was a 10 on 5 experience (5 being the highest). We were overly joyed to stay there.

I stayed at Maligne lodge for 2 nights as part of a group tour. The room was old and musty. I spilled water on the carpet by the nightstand. Attached is the picture of the white washcloth that I placed over the carpet overnight where I spilled. Air conditioning didn’t work. I finally got moved to another room. Unfortunately, the door did not lock. The room faced a back road so I really didn’t feel safe.
